Gaelle Baumann, Bruno Lopes and Sylvain Loosli all made it to the tournament area shortly before the second break of the day, and are now gunning for a big stack in the Winamax SISMIX Main Event once again.
With those registrations, Team Winamax have six pro's in the field today, as Davidi Kitai, Guillaume Diaz and Aladin Reskallah are still going strong. The latter had to make use of a re-entry, but are now back in action with his easy recognizable card guard; a (magic) lamp.
In the very last hand before the break, Spanish Pro Leo Margets moved all-in for around 6,000 from the button and got the call from [Removed:445] in the big blind. Haho's were trailing the of Margets, but the flop turned that around 180 degrees, leaving the Spaniard drawing to a straight or the better set.
The on the turn changed nothing, and the cemented the win for Haho, who now sits comfortably on nearly 200,000 chips.
Margets, on the other hand, will need to make use of a re-entry if she wants to keep the hope alive of lifting the trophy on Sunday.
With the orange 25,000 chips already in play, it can be hard to single out the big stacks at this point in time, but it seems very plausible that local player Zoubir Mahi has taken the chiplead for the day.
Mahi is no stranger to poker and has recorded cashes in Marrakech for almost $100,000, and a key element of his game appears to be the table talk. Mahi just played two consecutive pots against a Spanish opponent, that seemed a little flustered about the sheer number of questions Mahi asked him during the hands.
"I got a little something, do you? Was it a good flop for you? Do you have the flushdraw?" he fired rapidly as he faced a bet on a flop, but ultimately decided to let it go. The very next hand Mahi got it back, as he raised the Spaniard on a flop and got the fold.
With 28,000 chips already in the pot Davidi Kitai bet 12,500 on a board of . Benjamin Dadon thought briefly before announcing all-in for 45,800 total, and Kitai rested his head on his hand while contemplating his decision. Ultimately he let it go, and Dadon quickly turned over the for a mere Ace-high, prompting a dissatisfied grunt from Kitai as he saw the pot being shipped across the table.
The Belgian Winamax Pro is still doing fine, though, with 1.5 times the average stack.
On a flop Japan's Kazuma Fujiyama fired out 13,000 into a pot of 10,000, just to find his opponent shoving all-in for a total of 45,050. Fujiyama instantly went into the tank and even mumbled out numbers for the table to hear, clearly doing all sorts of calculations. Ultimately he threw in the chips for the call with the word Allez but didn't look too happy as he was shown the of his opponent.
Fujiyama's still had outs though, but it was not to be as the board ran out , giving his opponent a full house and the pot of more than 100,000.
David Schable is no more in the WInamax SISMIX Main Event after he ran his unimproved into the of his opponent, Pierre Zanone-Poma. The money went in on a board, an with a blank on the river, Zanone-Poma raked in the pot.
