Liu Eliminates Foxen

Niveau 26 : 15,000/30,000, 5,000 ante
Alex Foxen
Alex Foxen

Alex Foxen moved all-in for 329,000 from early position and it folded to Sang Liu in the hi-jack. Liu re-shoved all-in for about 2,600,000 and the rest of the table folded.

Liu: {q-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}
Foxen: {5-Clubs}{5-Spades}

The {a-Clubs}{a-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds} flop was no help to Foxen and the {6-Diamonds} hit the turn. Foxen would need a five on the river to survive but the {a-Hearts} completed the board. Liu's pocket queens held up and Foxen was sent to the rail.

Michalek and Dumsky Chop One Up

Niveau 26 : 15,000/30,000, 5,000 ante

The river brought the {3-Hearts} and Dumsky checked. Michalek bet 120,000 and Dumsky went into the tank before check-raising to 300,000. Michalek called and tabled {K-Clubs}{10-Hearts} for tens full. Dumsky rolled over {10-Clubs}{9-Clubs} for the same hand and they chopped the pot.

Berman Scores a Knockout

Niveau 25 : 12,000/24,000, 4,000 ante

A player in late position got his last 375,000 all in preflop and was called by William Berman in the small blind. The player turned over {10-Spades}{10-Diamonds} and was flipping with the {a-Hearts}{k-Hearts} of Berman.

The dealer spread the {k-Spades}{7-Hearts}{3-Clubs} flop and Berman paired his king to take the lead. The turn was the {a-Spades} improving Berman to top two pair and his opponent would need a ten on the river to stay alive.

The {3-Spades} river card sealed the deal for Berman who dragged in the pot sending his opponent to the rail.

Ha Keeps Climbing

Niveau 25 : 12,000/24,000, 4,000 ante

Thai Ha was in middle position and heads-up against a player in early position. There was a substantial pot of about 200,000 already brewing and the board read {J-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}{7-Hearts}. Both players checked.

The {Q-Spades} fell on the river and they checked again. Each player tabled a pocket pair, but Ha's {8-}{8-} was best against his opponent's {6-}{6-}, so he took the pot to put his stack over the 3,500,000-chip mark.

Liu Catches Jewell's Bluff

Niveau 25 : 12,000/24,000, 4,000 ante

The action folded to Sang Liu in the hi-jack position and he raised to 60,000. Kurt Jewell re-raised to 128,000 from the small blind and Liu called.

They went heads-up to the {a-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{3-Hearts} flop and Jewell led out with a bet of 145,000. Liu instantly raised to 325,000 and Jewell called.

The turn was the {3-Diamonds} and both players knuckled the felt. The river was the {a-Hearts} and Jewell fired out a bet of 320,000. Liu nearly beat him into the pot with the call saying "I call whatever it is turn over your cards."

"You're good" replied Jewell as he slid his hand face down into the muck and Liu slammed his {7-Clubs}{7-Hearts} on the table to take the pot.

Bulliard Sends One Home

Niveau 25 : 12,000/24,000, 4,000 ante

Andrew Bulliard looked down at {K-Hearts}{K-Diamonds} when a player before him shoved all-in for just 112,000. Bulliard raised to 250,000, but he was the only player wanting in on the action.

The all-in player showed {A-Clubs}{3-Diamonds} and was looking for an ace, but the dealer spread out {5-Hearts}{2-Spades}{J-Diamonds} {8-Clubs} {10-Spades} and then later shoved the pot to Bulliard.

Racener Wins a Big Pot

Niveau 25 : 12,000/24,000, 4,000 ante
John Racener
John Racener

John Racener has won a big pot by eliminating one of his opponents.

With the board reading {A-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{Q-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}, it was the player in the two-seat who bet out 150,000. Racener called the bet and both players saw the {3-Spades} complete the board.

This time, the player on seat two bet out 450,000 and after a while, Racener decided to push all-in for effectively 300,000 more. His opponent let out a big sigh, but eventually threw chips in the middle to signify a call.

Racener showed {K-Clubs}{J-Clubs} for the absolute nuts and his opponent got eliminated with {6-Spades}{6-Clubs}. Racener chips up to more than two million chips.
