The number of entrants on Day 1b is now over 5,415 players. If we add to this number the 4,585 entrants from Day 1a, over 10,000 entries have been registered for this tournament.
According to WSOP's archives, this year's event has already set a new record for the Millionaire Maker and is also the largest $1,500 buy-in event in poker history.
This number will continue to grow as players still have until the end of Level 8 to enter or reenter.
