Niveau 1 : 25/50, 0 ante

Boris Kotleba finished second to Marcin Chmielewski in the World Series of Poker Circuit event at King's Casino in Rozvadov earlier this year. Kotleba took home €115,520 ($123,161) for his efforts.

In this hand, two players including Konstantin Puchkov checked a flop of {5-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{8-Spades} to Kotleba who bet 500. One player called, one player folded, and Puchkov also folded. The turn was the {9-Clubs} and Kotleba bet 1,000. His opponent called.

The river was the {6-Spades} and Kotleba bet 2,000. His opponent called. Kotleba showed {a-Spades}{2-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{7-Hearts} for a flopped straight and rivered nut low. His opponent showed {a-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{7-Spades}{q-Diamonds} also for the nut low and was quartered. Kotleba is up to around 8,500 in chips.

Barny Boatman: "My Hand is Only Worth 200!"

Niveau 1 : 25/50, 0 ante

Three players saw a flop of {q-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}{7-Clubs} and the first player checked to Barny Boatman who bet 200. The third player in the hand called and the other player folded.

The turn was the {9-Clubs} and both players checked. Boatman bet 200 again on the {7-Spades} river.

His opponent looked at the bet quizzically.

"This is PLO?" he asked.

"Yes," replied Boatman.

"So why only 200?" said the player.

"Because my hand is only worth 200!" replied Boatman. His opponent folded. "And yours is only worth 100!" quipped the two-time bracelet winner.

Early Notables

Niveau 1 : 25/50, 0 ante

"Chip leader, everyone!" said someone on Mike Sexton's table as Sexton raked in an early pot.

Meanwhile, Tony Cousineau was clapping his hands together in anticipation of the off.

Frenchmen Alex Luneau and Fabrice Soulier are both in attendance.

Two-time bracelet winner Barny Boatman was playing peace-maker in a pot between two players trying to decide what the pot-sized bet was.

It's an exciting start here in the pot-limit Omaha!
