Zmukic Takes From Newey

Niveau 1 : 100/200, 0 ante

In a battle of the blinds, Vesko Zmukic and Paul Newey were on the {j-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{j-Clubs} turn and the former checked. Newey made it 1,350 to go and Zmukic came along to see the {8-Spades} on the river. Zmukic now bet 2,200 and Newey reluctantly folded.

Both players were among the dozen qualifiers that earned their seat in yesterday's A$2,800 satellite.

Pots for Lee and Martinelli

Niveau 1 : 100/200, 0 ante

On a {4-Spades}{7-Clubs}{q-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds} board, Jamie Lee had bet 11,500 into a pot of 13,000 and Sam Greenwood took a moment before calling.

Lee turned over {5-Diamonds}{6-Clubs} for a turned straight and Greenwood mucked.

Meanwhile, Luke Martinelli opened to 500, and Michael Dyer three-bet to 1,150. Lee then four-bet to 3,500 and Dyer called.

The pair checked the {a-Spades}{3-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{2-Spades} flop and turn, with Dyer folding to a bet of 3,300 on the {6-Diamonds} river.
