Alors que les enregistrements sont encore ouverts, les 85 000 entrants du tournoi ont généré un prizepool de plus de 17 millions de dollars ! La garantie de 12,5 millions de dollars est explosée, il fallait 62 500 à PokerStars pour entrer dans ses frais sur ce tournoi à 215$ le buy-in.
Le tournoi est bien parti pour battre le record du plus gros événement de l'histoire du poker online et la bataille fait rage puisqu'il reste deux jours de compétition et la possibilité d'entrer dans le tournoi avant la nuit prochaine, et en ayant accès au .com.
Les premiers ont déjà fait l'écart puisque les 9 joueurs en tête ont déjà plus d'un demi-million de jetons. A field of 5,893 players exchanged $215 for the chance to become the first-ever PokerStars Sunday Million champion. That player was “aaaaaaaa” who got their hands on the $173,843 top prize and a place in online poker’s history books.
