The final day of the Unibet Open Malta €1,100 Main Event has arrived and there be 11 players returning to their seats with their sights set on the title. After 12 levels of poker on Day 2, the tournament director decided to end the night prior to the final table being reached.
Coming into Day 3, there are three players that have pulled away from the rest of the field. Henri Jantunen from Finland will return to the largest stack of 1,555,000 chips. Not far off in the distance is [Removed:402] with 1,510,000 followed by Matthew Ireland who bagged up 1,440,000. Those are the only three with a stack greater than a million but don't count out the other eight players just yet.

The action will kick off at 12 pm local time and it will be a quick turnaround for the players since play didn't wrap until nearly 3 am last night. They will need to bring their A-game with the majority of the prizepool still at stake. They are each guaranteed at least €5,990 but the winner will be taking home €71,620.
The blinds will resume at 10,000/25,000 with a big blind ante of 25,000. The levels will continue to be 60 minutes in length to begin the day but they will be reduced to 45 minutes with six players remaining and 30 minutes with three players remaining. There will also ba redraw once the final table of nine is reached. At that point, PokerNews will switch their coverage to a delay to remain in sync with the live stream.

The action folded to Luca Beretta on the button who shoved all in for his last 10 big blinds of 250,000. Tonio Roeder called from the small blind and Alexandru Cinca got out of the way.

The flop of gave Beretta a straight draw to go with his two live cards. The on the turn didn't help but it was the on the river that kept Beretta alive.

After falling down to one of the short stacks early on, Sulaiman Sesay is proving that he will not be picked on by the bigger stacks. Sesay pushed all in back-to-back ends to pick up the blinds and ante and continued his momentum.
Tonio Roeder opened to 55,000 in the hijack and Sesay defended his big blind. The flop came and Sesay checked to Roeder who continued for 45,000. Sesay check-raised to 115,000 and Roeder folded.
In the next hand, [Removed:402] made it 60,000 from the cutoff and Sesay called from the small blind. The flop fell and Sesay checked. Rinkevicius bet 55,000 and Sesay check-raised again to 140,000 which got a fold from Rinkevicius.

Gedas Petrauskas opened to 50,000 from under the gun and was called by Henri Jantunen on the button and Alan Carr in the big blind. The flop came and the action checked around to the on the turn and the on the river.
Carr checked for the third time and Petrauskas finally tossed in a bet of 100,000. Jantunen folded but Carr check-raised all in for 610,000. Petrauskas thought for a minute before finally sending his cards to the muck.

Heidelbacher led out for 50,000 and Sesay raised to 150,000. Heidelbacher just called and the completed the board. Heidelbacher fired out another bet of 265,000 and Sesay wasted little time before making the call. Heidelbacher turned over for the nut flush and Sesay mucked his cards.

Alexandru Cinca was one of the short stacks still remaining and he moved all in for 315,000 in the cutoff. Christopher Heidelbacher instantly flicked in a chip to call from the big blind and they were off to the races.

The flop of was safe for Cinca who was looking for a double up. However, the on the turn put Heidelbacher out front. The on the river only improved Heidelbacher to a full house and Cinca was eliminated in 11th place.
