Tony Clark entre dans ce Day 5 à court de munitions. Il en ressort 10 minutes plus tard, les pieds devant.. Destin classique du soldat trahi par l'intendance.

Alexander Kostritsyn ouvre en relançant à 25,000. Tony Clark, en milieu de parole, sur-relance à tapis, pour 391,000 au total. Tout le monde se couche jusqu'à Reagan Silber au small blind, qui suit. Kostritsyn se désintéresse du coup et se couche. C'est donc à un duel que nous sommes conviés et les soldats laissent parler la poudre:

Hoyt Corkins, un des grands pros encore en course dans ce tournoi, a eu raison de l'infortuné Neil Sweeting. Corkins relance à 25,000 en début de parole. Sweeting, suivant à parler, sur-relance à tapis pour 159,000. Tout le monde se couche jusqu'à Corkins, qui suit sans se poser de question avec {A-Hearts} {A-Spades}. Sweeting retourne {6-Clubs} {6-Diamonds} et reprend un peu de couleur sur un flop {A-Clubs} {5-Clubs} {4-Clubs}. Le {5-Diamonds} du turn lui redonne un teint verdâtre. Sur le {4-Spades} de la rivière, c'est un Sweeting livide qui se lève pour aller recevoir les derniers sacrements au bureau des paiements .
