After 11 long levels, Day 2 of Event #5: $1,500 Omaha Hi/Lo 8 or Better has come to an end with World Series of Poker bracelet winner Connor Drinan assuming a commanding lead with 2.4 million in chips. The next closest stack belongs to four-time bracelet winner Robert Mizrachi, who sits with 1.4 million chips.

The day began with 230 hopefuls looking to make a deep run and ended with just 15 players remaining. Notables who started the day but failed to make the money include Allen Kessler, Bart Hanson, Mark Gregorich, and Allyn Shulman, who was eliminated close to the bubble after running into Eddie Hernandez's set of aces.

Those who managed to cash before busting include Joshua Pender, JJ Liu, Ari Engel, John Racener, John Certuno, and high-profile actor James Woods, who is an avid poker player who has cashed in numerous WSOP Omaha 8 or Better events over the years.

Play is set to resume tomorrow at 3 p.m. local time and play down to an eventual champion. Play will begin on level 27 with limits of 50,000/100,000.
