Jonathan Pastore triomphe, 34e bracelet pour la France

Niveau 32 : 150,000/300,000, 30,000 ante
Jonathan Pastore
Jonathan Pastore

Cocorico !

After a 650,000 open from Jonathan Pastore on the button, Stephen Song three-bet to 2,100,000. Pastore called and they saw a flop.

{q-Clubs}{k-Hearts}{10-Spades} fell and Song continued for 900,000 which was called by the in-position Pastore.

A {6-Spades} turn didn't slow Song down. He lead for 2,500,000 this time. Pastore once again put in the chips for a call.

On the {4-Diamonds} river, Song then paused for a minute or so before moving all in for his last 4,275,000. Pastore went into the tank, before deciding to call. Song flipped over {5-Clubs}{2-Diamonds} and Pastore tabled the {q-Spades}{j-Clubs} for a pair and he burst out into elation with his joyous rail.

Final Five Have Eyes on the Top Prize in Event #46: $5,000 6-Handed No-Limit Hold'em

Stephen Song
Stephen Song

Welcome to the final day of Event #46: 5,000 6-Handed No Limit Hold’em. The final five players will arrive shortly to Bally’s and Paris Las Vegas where they will battle it out at 2:00 p.m. for the grand prize of $771,765 and to be crowned the latest WSOP gold bracelet winner.

Leading the way in chips is American, Stephen Song. Song has one WSOP bracelet from the 2019 WSOP in the $1,000 No-Limit Hold’em event and will be looking to add another one to his collection. With over half of the chips in play, he has a good shot to take the title.

After a long three day grind, his opponents will definitely not make it easy on him as they face off today and try to take the chip lead from Song to pave their own way to victory. The remaining four players at the final table, Tamer Alkamli (8,710,000), Jonathan Pastore (5,959,000), Elio Fox (5,635,000) and Paraskevas Tsokaridis (2,590,000) are very much still in it and a few double ups could have anyone of them taking down the title.

Play will resume in Level 30, with 25 minutes left on the clock and blinds at 100,000/200,000, from the main stage in Bally’s Convention Center. The stream will be available for viewing through YouTube live stream on the PokerGO channel, on a one-hour delay.

Stay tuned in to PokerNews for all the live updates on what will be an exciting finish to this event.
