The 2021 World Series of Poker Europe is gearing up for the business end of the festival in Europe's biggest poker arena at the King's Resort in Rozvadov, Czech Republic. Only a few chances remain for poker enthusiasts from near and far to earn one of the coveted gold bracelets and one of them will be up for grabs on the final table of Event #13: €10,000 NLH 6-Max.

Out of a field of 73 entries, three Germans and three French will battle for the title and biggest slice of the €672,695 prize pool. Leading the way is Sonny Franco (2,460,000) followed by Sirzat Hissou (1,825,000) and Romain Le Dantec (1,475,000).

They are the only contenders with a seven-figure stack for the live-streamed showdown while a trio of short stacks includes Jakob Miegel (620,000), Bertrand "ElkY" Grospellier (580,000), and Christopher Puetz (345,000).

Martini was also in contention in this event as well and bowed out in 8th place for a payday of €21,651.

All six finalists have €34,507 locked up for their efforts and have the eyes set on the €207,267 first-place prize. The live stream action will commence at 6.30 pm local time with blinds of 20,000/40,000 and a big blind ante of 40,000. All PokerNews updates will be published according to the delay of the cards-up coverage on the PokerGO platform.

Hissou Barrels Into the Nuts

Jakob Miegel

Sonny Franco raised the button with just the {6-Hearts} showing and Sirzat Hissou called with the {10-Hearts}{7-Hearts} in the small blind, Jakob Miegel came along in the big blind with the {a-Clubs}{2-Clubs}.

It was Hissou who bet the {8-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}{3-Spades} flop for 155,000 and Miegel called, Franco folded. After the {k-Clubs} turn, Hissou fired another bet worth 205,000 and Miegel called after brief consideration.

The {10-Clubs} river gave Miegel the nuts and Hissou now bet just 180,000. Miegel double-checked his cards, he moved all-in for 745,000 and Hissou tanked for a long time before making the call. Both stacks were counted and Hissou was left with a chip and a chair.
