Simon Lofberg raised to 35,000 from under the gun and Yake Wu defended from the big blind. The flop came and Wu check-called a bet from Lofberg.
The turn was the and Wu checked it over again. Lofberg counted out another bet of 110,000 and Wu stuck around to see the on the river. Wu checked once more and Lofberg reached back for a bet of 310,000. Wu quickly called but Lofberg turned over and Wu couldn't beat it.
Daniel Dvoress just won a healthy pot of Rainer Kempe when the two players clashed in the blinds and he wasn't quite done yet. Arsenii Karmatckii raised to 26,000 in the cutoff and Dvoress pushed all in for 310,000 in the small blind. Karmatckii quickly called and the cards were tabled.

Despite not hitting the flop of , Dvoress also picked up a straight draw. Those outs were eliminated once the paired the board on the turn but the on the river gave Dvoress the better two pair and a double up.

Bhavin Khatri opened the action with a raise to 25,000 in middle position and received a call from Yake Wu in the hijack. The next two players folded before Ludovic Geilich called from the small blind. Action was then on Yunye Lu in the big blind and he defended as well to take action four ways to a flop of .
Action checked to Khatri and he made a continuation-bet of 43,000. Wu folded, Geilich called, and Lu folded.
The turn came with action heads up and both players checked, bringing the river . Geilich reached for chips, grabbing his stack of T25,000 chips and sliding them forward across the felt. It was more than enough to put Khatri all in for his last 248,000.
Khatri thought for over a minute, using two time extensions to consider the decision he was faced with for his tournament life. Eventually, he folded, deciding to wait for a better time to commit the rest of his chips. Meanwhile, Geilich finds himself back over 1 million after winning the pot sans showdown.
Action was on a flop and Kamel Aslan bet 34,000. Tsugunari Toma raised all in for around 200,000 and Aslan called.
Toma held for an open-ended straight draw, but was ahead of the flush draw of Aslan.
The turn and river bricked and Toma doubled, much to Aslan's dismay.

Viktor Katzenberger saw action foldd to him int eh cutoff and went all in for 117,000. He received a call from Arsenii Karmatckii, who was on the button, and the two remaining players in the hand folded.

Katzenberger needed to improve to stay alive and did not find much help on the flop . However, the turn was just what he needed to pull ahead and the river [t6h] kept him there as the runout finished to score him the double.
Masato Yokosawa opened to 24,000 in the cutoff and Francesco Delfoco shoved all in for just over 100,000 on the button. Viktor Katzenberger also shoved all in from the big blind and Yokosawa instantly stuck in the last of his 336,000 chips as well.

All three players woke up with pocket pairs and some murmurs came from the table on the flop of . Katzenberger flopped a set of eights to take a big lead but the landed on the turn. Some more "Oohh's" came from the table as Yokosawa spiked a two-outer for an even bigger lead. The completed the board which eliminated Delfoco and Yokosawa doubled through Katzenberger in the side pot.
