With the board reading Q♣10♣7♦ and roughly 22,000 already in the middle, Gha Iakobishvili found himself all in and at risk on the buutton against Enrico Camosci in the small blind who held a covering stack.
Gha Iakobishvili: 9♣7♣
Enrico Camosci: A♦10♥
The rest of the board ran out 3♥6♣ and Iakobishvili's flush was good for a full double up at Camosci's expense.
Kyle Cheong arrived to the table to bring the total number of entries to eight. The tournament floor asked the table whether they wanted to stay at one table, or separate into two tables of four. It was decided to keep it eight-handed as Joao Vieira then opened to 2,500 under the gun.
Gha Iakobishvili then three-bet to 7,500 in the hijack and Vieira called. "You cannot win this hand, "Iakobishvili told Vieira heading to the 5♣3♣6♠.
Iakobishvili and Albert Daher had a bet going on all-black flops. "That's 15," Iakobishvili told Daher before betting another 10,000.
Vieira called and both players checked the 2♠ turn. The river came the 9♠. "What's all black? One million," Iakobishvili joked.
Vieira then led out for 30,000 and Iakobishvili folded.
The next hand, Daher and Vieira went heads-up to a flop of J♦7♦2♦ and Iakobishvili won another $2,000 on the all-red flop. "Fifteen plus two. So 17. Finally something good," Iakobishvili said.
Daher bet 2,500 on the button and Vieira called to the 6♣ turn. Daher then bet another 10,000 and Vieira called.
The river came the Q♠ and Daher fired out another 25,000. Vieira gave up his hand this time.
Daniel Rezaei raised to 3,500 under the gun before Albert Daher three-bet to 10,000 in the cutoff. Rezaei called and they went heads-up to a flop of J♠8♦2♠.
Daher then continued for 7,000 and Rezaei quickly tossed his cards away.
The next hand, Daher opened to 3,500 under the gun and Rezaei defended his big blind. The flop came 2♦8♦A♠ and Daher bet 2,500.
Rezaei called to the J♦ turn, where he folded to another bet of 13,500 from Daher.
Aleksejs Ponakovs recently joined the field to bring the total number of entries up to double digits.
Juan Pardo raised to 3,500 under the gun before Gha Iakobishvili three-bet to 10,000 on the button.
Pardo called and the flop came Q♥Q♠4♣. Iakobishvili then continued for 3,500 and Pardo raised to 16,500.
Iakobishvili quickly called as the 4♦ fell on the turn. Pardo slowed down and checked, and Iakobishvili fired out 17,000.
Pardo called once more and the river came the 6♣. Iakobishvili then bet another 31,000, putting in a green 25,000 chip, a blue 5,000, and a yellow 1,000. Pardo quickly folded.
Iakobishvili then attempted to take back his green chip. "Six," he joked with Pardo as he took the pot.
Gregoire Auzoux had just entered the tournament and on one of his first hands raised to 3,500 in the hijack. Daniel Rezaei called on the button as action went on small blind Albert Daher, who three-bet to 15,000.
Auzoux then four-bet to 45,000 and Rezaei got out of the way. "I was going to do it," Daher said as he counted out his remaining stack.
"You can either win the pot or lose the pot," Auzoux told him.
"I'm afraid I'm dominated," Daher replied as he mucked after using a time bank. Auzoux showed him A♦K♦, and Daher flashed A♥Q♦ confirming he was, in fact, dominated.
"When you said you were afraid of being dominated, I was like, please shove," Auzoux joked.
