Garofalo Gets the Call from Kruk

Niveau 10 : 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

The board showed {k-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{8-Diamonds} and Anthony Garofalo led 875,000 into a pot that was around 1,400,000. Christopher Kruk took his time before making the call and the river then fell the {2-Hearts}.

Garofalo quickly moved all in for enough to cover Kruk's remaining 1,800,000 chips that he had behind. Kruk held on to his cards for several minutes before making the call and Garofalo quickly tabled {k-Hearts}{k-Clubs} for a flopped set. Kruk mucked his hand and Garofalo moved over the 6,000,000 chip mark with the elimination.

McCann Hits the Flush

Niveau 9 : 15,000/35,000, 35,000 ante

Grecc McCann opened to 80,000 from late position and Dylan Linde three-bet all in for 300,000. McCann made the call and the players flipped over their hands.

Greg McCann: {a-Clubs}{8-Clubs}
Dylan Linde: {a-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}

The flop came down {10-Clubs}{k-Clubs}{3-Hearts} and Linde was ahead with his pair of kings but would need to dodge a club. The {3-Clubs} on the turn gave McCann the flush and the {j-Hearts} on the river did not help Linde who was eliminated.

Playground Poker Club
Playground Poker Club

The last day that has late registration still available is now upon us as we enter Day 2B of the partypoker MILLIONS North America $5,300 Main Event at the Playground Poker Club in Montreal, Canada. There will be 280 runners taking their seats and that number is expected to grow with the last chance for late registration happening during this session.

The total number of entries is sitting at 1638 and the tournament will be hoping to hit the 2000 mark, reaching the $10,000,000 guarantee that attracted so many players. Late registration will be open for the first four levels of play and players will have one re-entry if they bust on their first bullet.

This will mark the last day that anyone can enter the tournament and for the players that are already in multiple bullets, this will be either an exciting or disappointing day of poker. Look for the already healthy big stacks to take advantage of this and push their opponents around.

The cards will be flying through the air at 12:00 PM EST with the blinds resuming at 15,000/35,000 and a 35,000 button ante. The blind levels will continue at 60-minutes in length and a total of eight levels will be played today. There will be a 15-minute break at the end of every two levels plus a 30-minute dinner break after level 14.
