Tollerene Takes a Chunk from Chidwick

Niveau 17 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante

Ben Tollerene and Stephen Chidwick clashed in a pot worth 220,000 before a flop had been dealt. The pair were heads-up to that flop of {10-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{Q-Spades} , which led to a c-bet of 40,000 from Chidwick. Tollerene called.

On the turn of {2-Spades} Chidwick bet 50,000 and again was called. On the river of {J-Hearts}, Chidwick checked and so too did Tollerene, who won with {K-Hearts}{Q-Clubs}.

Katz Doubles Through Reixach

Niveau 16 : 15,000/30,000, 5,000 ante

Cary Katz (pictured) was the only caller to Sergi Reixach's preflop raise to 60,000. The flop of {J-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{10-Hearts} got all the chips into the middle as Katz moved all-in and was called by Reixach.

Katz had the second nut flush draw with {5-Diamonds}{K-Hearts} but needed plenty of help from the deck as Reixach had {K-Diamonds}{K-Spades}. He announced that he'd "take a chop", hoping for a queen, but his luck was in further than that as he turned the flush after the {8-Hearts} landed. The river of {2-Clubs} completed the hand and saw Katz double right back into contention.

Kenney Doubles Through Tollerene

Niveau 16 : 15,000/30,000, 5,000 ante

Bryn Kenney shoved all in under the gun for 191,000 total. Stephen Chidwick asked for a count but folded and after that, action folded to Ben Tollerene in the small blind rather quickly. He over shoved for just over 500,000 and medium stack Sergi Reixach folded his big blind.

"Best case for Bryn" Cary Katz said upon seeing the showdown.

Bryn Kenney: {A-Clubs}{3-Clubs}
Ben Tollerene: {2-Diamonds}{2-Spades}

The flop came {A-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}, helping Kenney in front. The {6-Hearts} turn and {Q-Clubs} river were blanks and Kenney doubled.

Kanit and Katz Dominate Early Exchanges

Niveau 15 : 12,000/24,000, 4,000 ante

With the final table under way, all nine players are hoping not to be the first player to vacate the table and play has begun cautiously.

One player who has got off to a strong start is Cary Katz. He raised from under the gun to 50,000 preflop and got a call from Stephen Chidwick in the big blind. The flop came {4-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{A-Clubs} and Katz c-bet 98,000 to take it down.

Mustapha Kanit has enjoyed the best of the opening half-dozen hands, however. He got his additional chips from Daniel Colman, who until that point had been using his chip lead to raise and take a few stacks. In this particular hand, however, he lost some to the Italian. Kanit's early position raise in the next seat to Colman was called by the former Big One for One Drop winner, who sat in the big blind.

The flop of {6-Spades}{6-Hearts}{K-Spades} saw Kanit c-bet to 40,000 which was called. The turn of {9-Clubs} was checked by both men, but the {q-Diamonds} river saw Colman lead out for 125,000. A chunky bet, and Kanit took his time, but eventually called to see that Colman only had ace-high, while Kanit held {10-Clubs}{10-Spades} and they were good enough to scoop a decent pot.

Oleksii Khoroshenin Bubbles the Single-Day High Roller Again

Niveau 15 : 12,000/24,000, 4,000 ante
Oleksii Khoroshenin
Oleksii Khoroshenin

Action folded to Oleksii Khoroshenin on the button and he moved in for 429,000. The small blind folded right away but big blind Ben Tollerene needed some more time to make up his mind. Tollerene, one of the shortest if not thé shortest, tanked for a bit before he called all in for 322,000 total.

Oleksii Khoroshenin: {A-Hearts}{10-Spades}
Ben Tollerene: {A-Spades}{Q-Diamonds}

The board ran out {8-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}{2-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{4-Spades} and Tollerene doubled up, leaving Khoroshenin short.

The next hand, Khoroshenin shoved all in from the cutoff. Action folded around to big blind Daniel Dvoress and he called instantly.

Oleksii Khoroshenin: {J-Hearts}{10-Hearts}
Daniel Dvoress: {A-Spades}{2-Hearts}

The board ran out {5-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{8-Hearts}{4-Spades}{9-Spades} and just like that, the bubble was over with.

After stone cold bubbling the €25,000 Single-Day High Roller in Prague just three weeks ago, another big bubble for EPT Vienna champion Oleksii Khoroshenin. The remaining nine players are guaranteed €96,080.
