Day 2 of Event #17: $1,500 Millionaire Maker has concluded. It had a field of 1,174 entries. A total of 170 players remain and 799 players cashed for at least $2,400. First place is guaranteed a gold bracelet and a cool $1,000,000 in cash.

Darryl Ronconi bagged 2,545,000 chips and is the chip leader going into Day 3. He was on the stone bubble with less than ten big blinds but managed to spin it up to end the day with the chip lead. His biggest career cash was a second-place finish in the $5,000 No-Limit Hold'em - Triple Chance event at the 2011 WSOP, which netted him $510,053.

A few former bracelet winners that move on to Day 3 include Ryan Hagerty (1,100,000), Tristan Wade (1,900,000),
Craig Varnell (765,000) and Brett Apter (360,000). Other notables such as Day 1a chip leader Yiming Li (595,000), Day 1b chip leader Stephen Song (1,300,000), and Vanessa Kade (1,590,000) will also move onwards to Day 3.

Day 3 starts at 12 p.m. local time on October 11 in the Amazon Room of the Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino. The tournament resumes at level 22 with blinds of 25,000/50,000/50,000.
