Yegor Moroz:1010
Xuming Qi: AQ

It was looking good for Moroz on the turn 6397, but the nasty A on the river gave Qi the win and he was eliminated in 26th place.

Patrick Clarke
Patrick Clarke

Patrick Clarke had moved all in preflop and was called by bigger stack Joe Cada to his left. The other players quickly got out of the way and the cards were tabled.

Patrick Clarke: AQ
Joe Cada: A10

Clarke had Cada dominated with his superior ace, but the runout of J108A6 was not his friend as it gave Cada two pair to send the Irishman to the rail in 27th place.

Double-Up Queen Strikes Again

Niveau 34 : Blinds 250,000/500,000, 500,000 ante
Ashley Frank
Ashley Frank

After just doubling a few hands prior, Ashley Frank moved all in again after a preflop shove from Sabir Rasulov. The other players quickly got out of the way and the hands were tabled with Rasulov at risk.

Sabir Rasulov: AK
Ashley Frank: QQ

Frank was a favorite going into this most classic flip, but of course, it had to be a sweat when the flop came out 9510. Now Frank had to dodge any spade as well as any ace or king.

Miraculously, the board bricked out with the 79 runout and she scored another big pot while Rasulov was sent to the rail.

WSOP bracelet winner Joe Cada and Julien Loire squared off in a big pot.

Loire raised to 800,000 in early position, and then Cada, who was on the button, three-bet to 1,950,000.

Loire covered Cada and went in the tank, peeking over at the 2009 WSOP Main Event champion, who was motionless. After up to close to a minute, Loire moved all in.

Cada, who had 7,550,000 behind, snap called to put his tournament life at stake.

Joe Cada: AA
Julien Loire: KQ

The dealer fanned 739 on the flop, leaving Cada ahead. The 8 appeared on the turn, followed by 9 on the river, giving Cada a double-up.

Snyder Takes Early Lead

Niveau 32 : Blinds 150,000/300,000, 300,000 ante
Steven Snyder
Steven Snyder

The action was caught as Steven Snyder made it 1,800,000 preflop from the button and was called by Matthew Volosevich from the cutoff.

The two players went heads up to a flop of 85Q and Snyder continued for 1,300,000 after a check from Volosevich.

Volosevich made the call to see the 9 on the turn, which both players decided to check through to the J on the river.

Volosevich checked once more, which prompted Snyder to set out a stack of 4,300,000, which sent Volosevich into the tank.

After about 30 seconds of thought, Volosevich slowly slid his cards into the middle and awarded the large pot to Snyder, which received a few cheers from his rail.
