Today, the Millionaire Maker event took place in both Paris and Horseshoe. As the field is getting smaller, players are being gathered in Paris.
40-50 tables were still open in the Horseshoe at the beginning of the last level. Two-thirds of the tables have moved from one room to the other during the level. The remaining tables should follow soon.
Michel Leibgorin opened to 3,600 from middle position. The Frenchman was then raised to 8,500 by the cutoff. Leibgorin asked his opponent for the amount of his stack and called.
With his magnifying glass, Leibgorin saw a flop of K♦K♣Q♠ and checked. The cutoff checked back, and the 8♥ appeared on the turn.
Leibgorin decided to bet 6,000, but the cutoff raised to 17,000. This bet was too much for Leibgorin, who folded.
Mustapha Kanit raised to 3,500 and only got called by Yucel Eminoglu on the button.
The flop came 7♦10♠9♠ and Kanit check-called Eminoglu for 3,000. The same action happened on the A♣ turn, this time for 14,000.
The river was the 8♦ and this time both players checked. Kanit flipped over A♦K♦ for top pair, but the pot was sent to Eminoglu who held J♣8♣ for a flopped straight.
From the hijack, Jon Pardy opened to 3,600. The button called, as well as the big blind.
On 10♥6♥3♠, the ACR Team Pro continued to 4,200. But this time, only the big blind completed to see the turn 8♥.
Pardy fired 8,200 more on this street. And once again, his bet was called. The river 4♦ was checked by both players, and Pardy showed 10♣9♣ for a pair. His hand was better than his opponent's, who had "a pair of sevens with the seven of hearts."
Early position raised to 2,600 with both the mid and late position players having called to the flop.
The flop came J♥3♦A♠ and the early position player led out for 4,200. Only Mikael Guenni from the middle position made the call.
With the J♣ having peeled off on the flop, both players were quick to check.
The river was the 7♠ and the early position player was quick to check. Guenni fired for 7,800 and received a call from his opponent. He revealed A♥A♦ to take down the pot after perfectly slow playing his aces.
The board K♠Q♣K♦A♦3♠ was already dealt with a pot around 17,000 when Xuan Liu checked to Mitchell Halverson who shoved for 16,200, putting Liu into a big decision.
After a few minutes, Liu eventually called but only to muck when Halverson tabled K♣2♠ for trips.

Action was caught after the flop of A♥5♥J♠, as the first two players were quick to check. Trevor Foley led out for 3,600 from late position as only the big blind made the call.
The K♠ peeled off on the turn, as the big blind again checked. Foley fired for 10,700 and received a fold from his opponent.
While Koray Aldemir was eliminated and leaving the Horseshoe, Muskan Sethi three-bet to 10,000 after an open by a player in early position. But in the cutoff, a player reraised all-in to 40,000. The initial raiser folded, and Sethi called.
Cutoff: J♦J♠
Muskan Sethi: A♥K♣
Sethi took the pot thanks to a king on the flop on 7♦9♦K♥7♥10♣. Her stack is now above 100,000 chips. However, she is still far from Claude Nganga Codru at her table, as he is one of the chipleaders of the room with 330,000 chips.
