Chamas Wins a "Fun One," Hellmuth Popular With His Tablemates

Niveau 20 : Blinds 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante

A pot of around 200,000 was already in the middle as Luis Dono and Rayan Chamas went to the river on a board of KAJQQ. Dono, in the big blind, tanked for a few minutes as he considered the action.

While Dono was thinking, Mary Anne Madruga asked Phil Hellmuth if she could take a picture with him. She handed her phone to another tablemate who snapped a few photos. "Give me that phone, you're doing a bad job," Hellmuth joked as he then took the phone and captured a few selfies with Madruga.

Dono finally checked and Chamas moved all in, easily covering Dono's remaining 195,000. Dono snap-mucked. "That was a fun one," Chamas said as he took the pot.

Goodman Cracks Aces For Fortunate Double

Niveau 20 : Blinds 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante

David Goodman was all in for 130,000 from early position and up against Jose Nadal in the cutoff.

David Goodman: K10
Jose Nadal: AA

Nadal had woken up with aces and was poised to send Goodman out as the AJ9 flop gave him top set. The turn, though, came the Q and Goodman made a straight to take the lead.

Nadal needed the board to pair to fill up but instead saw the 5 fall on the river as Goodman found a miracle to stay alive.

Elezra Chips Up Off Zamani

Niveau 20 : Blinds 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante
Eli Elezra
Eli Elezra

Action caught up on the turn in a hand between Marin Zamani in early position and Hall of Famer Eli Elezra in middle position, with Elezra calling a bet of 70,000 on a board reading K937.

The river brought a second seven in the form of the 7 and an unusual request from Zamani.

"Can I just fold?" Asked Zamani to a table of laughs.

"Wait, why can't he fold?" Replied Elezra.

Zamani would check-fold to a bet of 20,000 from Elezra and Zamani's question, perhaps not serious in the moment, was clarified by a floor call that yes, you can open fold in that situation.
