The 2023 World Series of Poker (WSOP) is underway, running from now through July 18, the 54th Annual WSOP will return to the Las Vegas Strip for the second year in a row for a total of 95 bracelets — the most in WSOP history.

In addition, there will be 20 bracelets – up from 13 last year – awarded on WSOP.com in the merged network of New Jersey and Nevada, while the segregated markets of Pennsylvania and Michigan are each awarding seven bracelets.

Prizepool and Payouts Confirmed

With the end of late registration, the total prizepool and payouts have been confirmed. A field of 1,203 players generated a prizepool of $845,550 that will be split amongst the top 289 finishers, each of whom is guaranteed a minimum of $760.99. The eventual winner will walk away with $134,527 as well as a gold WSOP bracelet.

"ForrestBlack" limped in from under the gun and it folded to Brady "DuQueen2Q" Osterman in the small blind, who called. Lokesh "lanku111" Garg checked their option in the big blind and the three saw a flop of 432.

Both blinds checked to "ForrestBlack" who bet out 5,320, which only Garg called. On the K turn, Garg checked again and "ForrestBlack" sized up to 15,960. Garg took a few seconds before folding and the pot was sent to "ForrestBlack".
