Final Numbers For This Flight

Niveau 7 : 250/500, 75 ante

The second of three flights in this Little One for One Drop drew a big crowd, with 1,220 total entries. That is nearly double the amount that registered yesterday, and tomorrow's flight should be the biggest of them all.

Right now, 390 players still remain with three more levels left to play tonight.

Heimiller Loses Some

Niveau 7 : 250/500, 75 ante

Dan Heimiller raised to 1,300 from early position, the cutoff called, and the button called.

The flop fell {K-Spades}{8-Spades}{5-Clubs}, and Heimiller bet 3,000. The cutoff called, and the button shoved for about 16,000. Heimiller folded, as did the cutoff, and the button took the pot.

Bach Adds to His Stack

Niveau 7 : 250/500, 75 ante

David Bach was part of a three-way pot on a {10-Spades}{9-Clubs}{2-Diamonds} flop. Action checked to Bach, who bet 1,400. Only one player tagged along to see the {8-Spades} hit the turn. Both players checked that card, and the same action occurred when the {A-Spades} completed the board on the river.

Bach rolled over {8-Clubs}{7-Clubs} for a pair of eights, and that bested the {K-Hearts}{Q-Hearts} of his opponent.

"Big Brother" Champion Evicted From Tournament

Niveau 7 : 250/500, 75 ante
Kevin Martin (as seen in previous event)
Kevin Martin (as seen in previous event)

Kevin Martin was in early position and moved in for his remaining 7,225. Ilya fisher was on the button and called.

Ilya Fisher: {a-Clubs}{9-Spades}
Kevin Martin: {k-Clubs}{q-Spades}

The flop was very hopeful for Martin, as it came {10-Spades}{j-Spades}{5-Clubs}. The turn changed nothing when the {2-Clubs} was flipped over, and Martin needed to connect on the river if he was to stick around. The {6-Hearts} filled out the board, though, spelling the end for the popular Canadian star of Twitch and reality television.

Martin has been spreading the love around the Rio with a big shoutout to his buddy K.L., which you can find out about by clicking on this link.

Fisher has a very workable stack now and looks to continue his run throughout the rest of the night.

Calderaro Felted

Niveau 7 : 250/500, 75 ante

With about 8,000 chips already in the middle and the board reading {A-Clubs}{Q-Spades}{6-Hearts}{10-Hearts}, recent bracelet winner James Calderaro bet 5,500, and a player in middle position moved all in for approximately 40,000. Calderaro went into the tank briefly and ultimately called with a slightly smaller stack.

Calderaro: {J-Hearts}{8-Hearts}
Opponent: {A-Spades}{10-Spades}

Calderaro's opponent had the advantage with two pair, but Calderaro could catch up on the river if his flush draw came in. The {Q-Clubs} river was no help to Calderaro, though, and he was eliminated.

Soyza Semi-Bluffs to Victory

Niveau 7 : 250/500, 75 ante

With about 13,000 in the pot action and the board reading {k-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}{10-Spades}{4-Spades}, action was on Christopher Soyza under the gun, and he checked. A player in the cutoff bet 6,000, and Soyza asked what he had behind before moving all in for roughly 30,000, having the opponent covered. After a couple of minutes thinking, the cutoff folded, and Soyza showed the semi-bluff, flipping over {j-Spades}{9-Spades}.

Heimiller Spikes Two-Outer

Niveau 7 : 250/500, 75 ante

A player in early position moved all in for his final 6,050, and action folded to Dan Heimiller in the small blind. He thought it over for a couple of minutes before he announced a re-raise to 15,000. The big blind quickly folded, and Heimiller saw he was in trouble.

Heimiller: {10-Diamonds}{10-Spades}
Opponent: {Q-Spades}{Q-Diamonds}

Heimiller's fortunes quickly turned when the flop came down {J-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{4-Clubs}. The {K-Diamonds} on the turn gave his opponent a handful of new outs, but the {3-Hearts} on the river wasn't one of them.

Heimiller scooped the pot, while his opponent could only bemoan his bad luck as he hit the rail.
