Welcome back to Casino Barcelona for Day 1h of Event #1: €1,100 Estrellas Poker Tour Main Event, which is the last of eight starting flights and is part of the Pokerstars Estrellas Poker Tour (ESPT).
Last night, Avihai Smadga took the overall chip lead with 983,000 after topping a 1,467-player flight in Day 1e. The first six flights have attracted a total of 4,331 entrants and, at the time of this writing, an additional 1,760 have entered Day 1g, which began earlier today at 11 a.m.

Some notables who have already secured a Day 2 berth include Jack Salter (410,000), Antoine Saout (219,000), Uri Reichenstein (213,000), and Team PokerStars Pros Arlie Shaban (206,000), Irene Albarran (146,000), and Benjamin Spragg (59,000).
Players will begin with 30,000 in chips with blinds starting at 100/100 with a 100 big blind ante. Day 1h features a turbo-like structure that includes accelerated 20-minute levels. Late registration will close at the start of Level 11, at which point the total amount of entrants will be finalized and the total prize pool will be calculated. Twenty-five-minute breaks will be held after every five levels and play will end for the day once 15 percent of the field remains.
All the remaining players across all eight starting flights will reconvene tomorrow at noon local time for Day 2. All players who make it to Day 2 will have made the money (the amount of a min-cash will be determined once the final prize pool is confirmed).

The Global Poker US Poker Open is back for a third season and will feature dozens of events in collaboration with PokerGO's US Poker Open (USPO) in Las Vegas.
Through the Global Poker series, which is set to run Aug. 21-Sept. 3, players will have the chance to travel to the PokerGO Studio alongside the world's best high-stakes players. The social poker series will have something for everyone, with everything from super deep stack events to bounty events and buy-ins below GC 99,000 and SC 99.
The series comes after the completion of Global Poker's GOAT V series, which wrapped up earlier this month with "Narcisprince79" and "Slob On Me Knob" winning the Main Events.

Faillace check-called a 300 bet from Tran on the 6♥8♥7♦ flop and then both players checked on the J♣ turn.
The A♠ completed the board and Faillace checked once more — prompting a 700 bet from Tran. Faillace quickly called and Tran showed Q♣4♣. Faillace showed A♣6♣ for aces up and chipped up early.

The flop came 5♣9♦Q♠. Harwood continued for 2,600 and only Rosa called. Both players checked back on the K♠ turn.
The river came the J♥. Harwood checked and Rosa sized up to 8,600. Harwood sighed before folding and showing A♥Q♦. Rosa scooped the pot.
