Mateos Diaz, Holz, Haxton, Juanda...

James Chen

While Mike Watson was being eliminated at one table, James Chen was involved in a massive pot against Adrian Mateos. With over 1,300,000 already in the pot of a {3-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{9-Spades}{6-Clubs} board, Chen checked and Mateos moved all-in.

Chen went into the tank and eventually, Mateos called the clock. With just five seconds left on the clock, Chen made the call.

Mateos tabled {q-Hearts}{9-Hearts} and Chen, realizing his Main Event run came to an end, slowly mucked his cards. Chen took home HK $2,343,000 (US $300,278) finishing in ninth place.

There looked to be about 300,000 already piled up in the middle when Adrian Attenborough moved all-in on the river of a {3-Spades}{8-Spades}{a-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{7-Hearts} board. His heads-up opponent, Dietrich Fast, went into the tank sizing up Attenborough's shove worth 475,000.

A couple moments went by and Fast tossed in a chip. Attenborough tabled {5-Spades}{7-Spades}, missing a flopped flush draw and fast turned over {a-Clubs}{5-Clubs} to send his opponent to the rail and take down a huge pot.
