Established in 1979, The Poker Hall of Fame includes poker's most influential players and other important contributors to the game. There are 32 living members, and 62 people have been given the honor in total.
The tournament saw an all-star line-up in 2022, with Hall of Famers Daniel Negreanu, Phil Hellmuth, Johnny Chan, Scotty Nguyen, and Todd Brunson all in the field. Other notables that turned up include Alex Foxen, Shaun Deeb, Chance Kornuth and Mike Matusow.
Players will start with 30,000 chips and play 17 40-minute levels on Day 1, with a 15-minute break every three levels and nine levels of late registration.
