"One time!" the aminated Zahiti yelled among other words in his native language. The flop was the low one he needed, but the on the turn gave Konopelko a massive lead in the hand.
Konopelko roared when the turn fell, pumping and shaking both of his fists in excitement. Zahiti let out a sigh in disappointment but bolted out of his seat when the on the river brought him one of the two remaining outs.
Ecstatic, he pumped his fist in celebration and a loud "come on" echoed throughout the room. Needless to say, Konopelko's spirit was crushed and, with a sullen look on his face, he darted out of the tournament room.
