On a board Pavel Cherevkov checked and Vladimir Pilyavskiy moved all in for 15,200 into a pot of 14,000.
Cherevkov studied his own stack cautiously as he would be left with just a couple of thousand chips if he called and was wrong. But he still got odd looks when he eventually called and showed for trip nines. Pilyavskiy was drawing thin with just two outs with his pocket . The river was the and he was eliminated.

Aditya Sushant says he is enjoying his time in Russia so far. So much so that he has fired four bullets in the EPT National.
"I really wasn't expecting these numbers," said Sushant in the middle of a packed tournament room here at Casino Sochi. "They got 400 or something last year and now 300 in this flight alone."
With registration still open for just over two more levels, that number could rise further. Sushant says he's been impressed by the festival.
"It's really nice. One thing I've really been impressed with has been the dealers. There have been hardly any mistakes, it's incredible. You go to some places where they're short of dealers and there are mistakes, but here I've maybe seen only one or two."
Sochi has been hosting poker tournaments since 2017 and Sushant believes the attendance of fesetivals such as the EPT could increase further.
"They really love poker. There's such an online presence and it's really picking up. Obviously this is the only place they can do it."
By his own admission, Sushant is "hanging in there" on his fourth bullet in the EPT National.
"I'm really excited for the main though!"
