Sarkis Karabadzhakyan has been busy collecting chips. A lot of chips. Currently, he is sat with more than three times the average and is top of the counts as we speak.
Sergey Chantsev opened the betting to 5,500 and he was three-bet to 15,000 by Chi-jen Chen on the button. Gurgen Arsenyan was sat in the big blind with onnly 19,000 left and he went all in over the top. Chantsev passed and Chen made up the difference before they turned over their cards.
Gurgen Arsenyan:
Chi-jen Chen:
Arsenyan was the massive underdog preflop. The flop gave him four outs for the straight. The turn bricked for Chen but the was just what Arsenyan needed. Chen sighed as the chips were passed away from him and Arsenyan is fortunate to survive to see the next hand.
Matous Houzvicek opened from under the gun and got two calls including Aleksey Britikov before Aleksandr Zolotukhin three-bet to 21,000 from the big blind.
Houzvicek got out the way before Britikov four-bet all in for 61,000. The other player in the hand folded and, after a short tank, Zolotukhin called.
Aleksey Britikov:
Aleksandr Zolotukhin:
There was no help for Zolotukhin on the board and Britikov doubled up.
Following the unfortunate hand where he lost pocket queens against eight-seven, Chi-Jen Chen has been left short. He has just pulled some back through after raising all-in over a 6,500 open and a flat, taking it down preflop. This puts him up to 20 big blinds and gives him a little breathing room.
