With the two players looking at a board that read J♠7♠3♦5♥Q♦, the action was on Jinho Hong, in the big blind, who checked.
Adrian Mateos, on the button, placed a bet large enough to put Hong all in for his effective stack of 150,000. Hong burned through several time bank chips before electing to make the fold.
Masato Yokosawa and Adrian Mateos were heads up on a flop of 7♣K♦10♦. With roughly 45,000 in the middle, Yokosawa checked to Mateos and the latter bet out 11,000. Yokosawa then raised to 37,000 before Mateos made the call.
The A♠ turn slowed Yokosawa down and he checked. Mateos picked the initiative back up with a bet of 60,000, and Yokosawa quikcly folded.
Farid Jattin raised to 20,000 in early position as action folded to Pedro Neves in the big blind, who three-bet to 60,000. Jattin then moved all in and Neves snap-called for his last 265,000.
"Who am I rooting for?" a short-stacked Parker Talbot asked as he came over from another table to watch the action.
Pedro Neves: Q♠Q♣
Farid Jattin: J♦8♣
"That's bad news for me," Talbot said. Jattin's move had been picked off by Neves' queens and the board ran out 3♠6♥3♥5♣5♦ to earn Neves a double up on the bubble.
The action folded to Alex Keating, who went all in from the cutoff while covering all of the players left to act. Quan Zhou sat in the big blind and made the call for 108,000 chips once it was his turn.
Quan Zhou: A♠Q♠
Alex Keating: A♥J♠
Zhou's superior ace held on 6♦A♣10♥5♣4♠, and the players shared a friendly fistbump before Keating cut out the chips he owed. Zhou doubled up on the stone bubble, but Keating was left with less than ten big blinds as a result of losing this pot.
The pot stood at approximately 46,000 with two players looking at a board that read 4♠2♥5♠.
Both Dmitrii Nazarov, in the hijack, and [Removed:452], in the cutoff, checked to a turn.
The J♥ saw Nazarov check-call a bet of 35,000 from Kaladjurdjevic.
The 4♦ river saw a repeat of the action, this time Kaladjurdjevic sized up to 135,000. Kaladjurdjevic held K♣9♣ for king high, while Nazarov scooped the pot with 6♦4♣ for rivered trips.
After Zhou's double up, Parker Talbot, a.k.a. "Tonka" knew he was forced to go all-in from the big blind, as he only had enough chips to pay it. "We can pay the bubble," he said, waiting for the next hand to start.
The dealer distributed the cards and Gassar Bitar decided to limp from early position. Dario Sammartino in the cutoff three-bet all-in for almost 700,000 chips, making Bitar fold.
"You want me to double," joked "Tonka" while high-fiving Sammartino, before they both revealed their cards.
Parker Talbot: 4♣2♦
Dario Sammartino: A♥8♠
A large crowd gathered around the table and watched as the dealer fanned a flop of 7♣7♠Q♣, which didn't change anything in the situation. Talbot was on the edge of elimination after the 6♥ came on the turn.
"Deuce, deuce, deuce," he asked for the river. His request was heard because the 2♥ landed on the felt, giving him a pair and allowing him to double up.
"Dario! Dario! Dario!" sang Tonka to celebrate, before moving on to the next hand.
Action folded to Ilia Pavlov in the small blind who limped in. Martin Diaz then raised to 32,000 in the big blind and Pavlov called.
The flop came J♣3♦5♣ and Diaz bet 21,000. Pavlov again called to the 6♠ turn, where Diaz bet another 61,000.
Pavlov stuck around to see the 4♥ river, where both players then checked. Pavlov showed A♣6♣ for a pair of sixes, but Diaz had K♥J♠ to win the pot with a pair of jacks.
While the bubble continued on, Danil Rafikov limped in from the small blind and Adrian Mateos checked his big blind. The 7♦K♥K♠ flop saw Rafikov bet out the minimum of 8,000 and Mateos called.
The 3♥ turn was then checked through before the 2♥ river completed the board. Rafikov checked to Mateos again, who made a bet of 24,000 this time.
Rafikov used one time bank extension before making the call, but mucked his cards once Mateos showed 7♣5♥ for two pair.
