Lewis Spencer and Maher Nouira, who were battling in the $50,000 Super High Roller at EPT Cyprus only a few days ago, were involved in a pot of 38,500 chips when they arrived on the turn on 5♥6♣2♦4♣.

Spencer bet 9,500 chips from the big blind and Nouira called from the hijack. The river then fell the A♠, a seemingly dreaded card as both players now checked.

Spencer tabled his 8♠8♣ for a pair of eights, but Nouira played the higher pocket pair with Q♥Q♦ and raked in the sizable pot with his pair of queens.

Koloszar Leads River

Marius Kudzmanas opened in early position to 4,000 and got called in the cutoff by Dario Sammartino and in the small blind by Daniel Koloszar.

The J♦6♣7♠ flop landed and action checked to Sammartino in the cutoff who went for a bet of 4,500. Koloszar called and Kudzmanas got out of the way.

The 8♥ landed on the turn and both players opted to slow down and check on their way to an A♥ river.

Koloszar took a moment and then gathered enough chips for a bet of 21,000. Sammartino folded without hesitation and Koloszar scooped.

Yokosawa Yeets Rocco out of the High Roller

In a modest pot, there was a board of 5♣A♣J♦7♣ in the middle. Masato Yokosawa and Michael Rocco were heads up when the former checked from the big blind before the latter bet 4,000 from middle position. Yokosawa called and the 4♣ river brought the fourth club on the board.

Yokosawa now led out for 8,500 chips, enough to put Rocco all in. Rocco mulled it over for a while before slamming in his final chips, revealing [a9c] for a middling flush.

However, Yokosawa played the higher flush with K♣8♦ and knocked out his opponent.

Bedir Gives Fraction of Huge Stack to Livschitz

Bedir made a bet of 4,000, after which Livschitz promptly went all in for 29,000 chips. Bedir used one time bank extension before shrugging and putting in the call.
