Dehli Doubles Through Danes

Niveau 17 : Blinds 2,000/5,000, 5,000 ante

Vladimir Troyanovskiy opened to 10,000 from under the gun and was called by Adam Martinsson in early position and Alexandru Danes in the highjack.

After tanking for a minute, Nicklas Krohn Dehli on the button reraised to 75,000, leaving 6,000 behind.

Action folded back around to Danes who called and tabled his hand, not aware that Dehli wasn't all in. He flipped his cards back over as hand for hand play was in effect.

When play resumed, Danes bet 10,000 on the flop of 10Q8. Dehli made a quick call and tabled JJ and Danes showed 99.

Dehli's jacks held through the 10 turn and on the 7 river to gain a full double up.

Rory Jennings was seen all-in with just two players to go for the min-cash, and it was Adrian Strobel looking for the knockout.

Rory Jennings: AA
Adrian Strobel: 55

Jennings had the best possible hand, but the J85 flop gave Strobel a set and left Jennings drawing thin. The 4 turn and 9 river were no help as he stood up from the table.

Straight Flush vs Nut Flush On Stone Bubble, No One Busts

Niveau 18 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante
Nikolaos Iliakis
Nikolaos Iliakis

Two players were looking at a full board that read J87A6.

The action was caught as Nikolaos Iliakis, in middle position, was facing a bet of 80,000 from Juan Carlos Vecino, in the hijack. Iliakis thought for some time, explaining out loud as he did so. Given it was the stone bubble and "anything is possible", Iliakis decided to just flat call the bet, leaving himself 60,000 behind.

Vecino tabled 109 for a flopped straight flush, while Iliakis showed AQ for a flopped nut flush. Much to the whole tournament floor's amazement, Iliakis' flat call saved him from being the stone bubble.

Razvan Nicolae Sabau
Razvan Nicolae Sabau

With over 400,000 chips in the middle, both Razvan Sabau who was all-in, and Georgios Zachmanidis patiently waited for the floor to say they could open their cards. Eventually, they were given the go-ahead.

Razvan Sabau: AJ
Georgios Zachmanidis: KJ

Sabau had Zachmanidis dominated, but unfortunately for him the K33 flop hit Zachmanidis' only live card and Sabau couldn't find an ace as the dealer completed the board with the 2 turn, and 2 river.
