Dvoress Dispatchs Mokri, Gives Some to Zhou

Niveau 13 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Daniel Dvoress and Kayhan Mokri were heads up on a completed board of 79A56. Mokri had checked from the big blind, after which Dvoress put him all in for 212,000 chips, slightly more than what was in the pot.

Mokri tanked for a while before flicking in the call but only flashed his cards briefly before they disappeared in the muck as they could not beat the straight of Dvoress, who played 88.

One hand later, Quan Zhou raised to 18,000 from the hijack, and Dvoress three-bet to 41,000 from the cutoff. Zhou put in the call, after which he check-called Dvoress' 18,000-chip bet on the K83 flop.

The A turn was quickly checked by both players before Zhou decided to lead for 33,000 on the 5 river. Dvoress let his clock run down a bit but eventually settled on a fold, diminishing his chip lead as the pot went to Zhou.

Greenwood Calls Off Against Astedt

Niveau 13 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante
Niklas Åstedt
Niklas Åstedt

With around 90,000 in the middle on a board of 56JA, Niklas Astedt bet 30,000 from the button and Sam Greenwood called under the gun.

The river was the K and Astedt moved all in, having Greenwood's last 150,000 covered. Greenwood ripped off his headphones and went deep into the tank as he considered the decision.

"I can beat that," Greenwood said, muttering to himself the possibilities of what Astedt could have as he burned through multiple time banks. He eventually called and Astedt showed K10 for a flush. Greenwood flashed Ax5x as he made his exit.

Steve O'Dwyer was also recently eliminated.

Vogelsang Flutters Away

Niveau 13 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Tom Vogelsang open-jammed for 88,000 from under the gun and the action folded to Michael Jozoff on the button, who called all in for 65,000.

Michael Jozoff: AK
Tom Vogelsang: AJ

Jozoff's kicker remained in play on the 298A4 runout, securing his double-up and leaving Vogelsang with fumes.

Not much later, Enrico Camosci raised to 20,000 from the cutoff and Vogelsang called for his 7,000 remaining chips in the small blind. Niklas Astedt then made it 60,000 to go from the big blind and Camosci quickly folded.

Tom Vogelsang: Q7
Niklas Astedt: K8

Both players flopped pairs on 875, but the 8 turn gave Astedt trips for the checkmark. Vogelsang stood up as the A river hit the felt, said his goodbyes, and swiftly vacated the tournament area.

Vogelsang Puts It In, Astedt Profits

Niveau 13 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Tom Vogelsang raised to 16,000 from the cutoff and Niklas Astedt put in a three-bet to 40,000 from the button.

Vogelsang inquired about his opponent's stack before shoving all in, whereafter Astedt quickly tossed his 196,000 chips in the middle for a call.

Niklas Astedt: AQ
Tom Vogelsang: A6

Vogelsang was caught making moves, and the KQ8QK board could not bail him out as Astedt made a full house.

Astedt doubled up to more than 50 big blinds, while Vogelsang was left with just over ten of them.

Camosci Takes From Nolet Without Anyone Noticing

Niveau 13 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Heads-up on a flop of 72K, Enrico Camosci bet 10,000 from the hijack and Guillaume Nolet called in the big blind.

The turn was the 3 and Camosci bet another 27,000. Nolet again called and checked to Camosci on the 4 river. Camosci allowed his entire 30-second clock to run out and used a time bank before checking behind.

Nolet showed KQ for a pair of kings and Camosci tossed A10 into the middle of the table. The dealer started pushing the pot towards Camosci, much to the surprise of the table.

"I thought he won," Niklas Astedt said, pointing at Nolet before the other players realized Camosci had made a flush.
