Ihor Kaliahin Eliminated in 24th Place ($6,750)

Niveau 23 : Blinds 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

Feyzullah Karaarslan opened to 90,000 from middle position before Ihor Kaliahin moved all in for 555,000 from the hijack. Ankit Ahuja reshoved for 750,000 from the cutoff and Karaarslan got out of the way leaving Kaliahin all in and at risk against Ahuja.

Ihor Kaliahin: KQ
Ankit Ahuja: AA

Ahuja was a massive favorite with aces and had to fade only two outs on the K22 flop. Kaliahin was unable to find another king on the J turn or 5 river and was eliminated from the tournament while Ahuja regained some of the chips he had least earlier.

Nikolay Fal: QJ
Dmitry Yurasov: AK

Fal was in rough shape against Yurasov's two pair and needed to hit a ten to preserve his tournament life. He found no help on the 3 turn or 6 river and was sent to the rail courtesy of Yurasov who scooped the pot.

Ahuja Takes a Tricky Line

Niveau 24 : Blinds 20,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

Ankit Ahuja opened the cutoff to 100,000 before the action folded to Oleg Netaliev in the big blind. After a moment of thought he put in a cold three-bet to the tune of 350,000. Ahuja sat in the tank for a few minutes before putting in the call.

The 7105 flop landed and Netaliev continued with a down-bet of 250,000. Ahuja then sat in the tank for close to three minutes before eventually finding a raise to 575,000. Netaliev didn't tank for long before flicking in a call and the A rolled off on the turn.

The action surprisingly slowed down and checked through to a K river. After Netaliev checked, Ahuja went deep into the tank for about three minutes. He then bet 640,000, only leaving himself 200,000 behind. Netaliev thought it over but eventually he mucked.

Ahuja scooped after taking a stop and go line that would ultimately earn him the pot.
