Marchese Cracks Two Million!

Niveau 15 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

The two chip leaders on Table 2 got involved in a massive pot. With around 120,000 in the pot, the board read {8-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{3-Spades}{4-Clubs}. Marchese checked from the big blind and Holz bet 156,000. Marchese put together a call and slid his chips into the middle.

The river was the {7-Clubs} and Marchese checked again. Holz tanked for over a minute before pushing forward 338,000. Marchese didn't waste much time before calling and Holz tabled {10-Spades}{10-Clubs}. Marchese rolled over {a-Spades}{3-Clubs} for trips and continued to dominate Event #2.

Mateos Clips Hellmuth

Niveau 15 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Phil Hellmuth raised in the cutoff to 30,000 and Adrian Mateos called from the big blind.

Both players checked the {7-Hearts}{J-Hearts}{2-Hearts} flop as the {A-Diamonds} landed on the turn and Mateos led out for 27,000. Hellmuth bumped it up to 57,000 total, and Mateos called before both players checked the {3-Clubs} on the river.

Hellmuth tabled his {10-Hearts}{10-Spades}, but it would be Mateous' {Q-Spades}{J-Spades} that would see him collect the pot as a Hellmuth "running bad" rant soon followed.
