Visconti in the Yellow Jersey
The first four hours of the day are almost over, and right now the biggest stack of the field might very well sit in front of France's Robin Visconti. Visconti is no stranger to success at Casino de Marrakech, as he final tabled an event during last year's WSOP Circuit festival in this very tournament room. He is looking for an encore, and so far he is in great shape with a stack of more than three times the average.
The latest addition to the stack came from table mate David Paturel. Paturel called 6,200 on the river of a board, only to muck his hand when Visconti turned over for the straight.
Countryman Salem Sahed is also off to a great start, and is right now sitting at 121,000 chips, while Winamax VIP Michael d'Inca is up to 90,000.
