Haxton Out-Kicks Bonomo

Niveau 5 : 120,000/24,000, 24,000 ante

Justin Bonomo opened to 60,000 from under the gun and Isaac Haxton three-bet to 210,000 on the button. The blinds folded and Bonomo called to go heads-up to a flop of {a-Clubs}{9-Spades}{6-Clubs}.

Bonomo checked and Haxton checked behind. The turn brought the {8-Clubs} and Bonomo led out for 200,000. Haxton called and the {9-Hearts} landed on the river.

Bonomo fired another 300,000 and Haxton called before his time expired. Bonomo flipped over {a-Diamonds}{q-Clubs} but Haxton revealed the {a-Hearts}{k-Hearts} for a better kicker and dragged in the pot.

Niveau 5 : 120,000/24,000, 24,000 ante

Dominik Nitsche opened to 60,000 from under the gun and Adrian Mateos three-bet to 200,000 on the button. Dan Smith was in the small blind and put in a four-bet to 650,000 which got a quick fold from Nitsche. Mateos, however, stuck around to see a flop at least.

The dealer fanned a flop of {j-Spades}{j-Hearts}{2-Hearts} and Smith led out for 350,000. That was enough for Mateos as he elected to give up and the pot was shipped to Smith.

Dan Smith
Dan Smith

There was nearly 1,100,000 already in the pot on the turn and action continued on Dan Smith. He checked with the board showing {8-Spades}{5-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}. Nick Petrangelo had position on Smith and he put out a bet of 900,000. Smith dropped into the tank. He thought through one time extension before calling with about 10 seconds to go.

On the {10-Clubs} river, Smith checked again. Petrangelo quickly checked back. Smith showed his {A-Spades}{3-Spades} for a turned straight and Petrangelo just nodded as his chips were pushed over to Smith.

Nitsche Takes From Petrangelo

Niveau 6 : 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

In a limped pot, small blind versus big blind, Nick Petrangelo was first to act against Dominik Nitsche.

The flop was {10-Clubs}{10-Spades}{7-Spades} and Petrangelo checked to Nitsche. Nitsche put out a bet of 60,000 and Petrangelo called.

The turn was the {J-Clubs} and Petrangelo checked again. Nitsche put out another bet of 130,000 and Petrangelo called again.

On the {4-Spades} river, Petrangelo checked. Nitsche thought a while before checking behind. Petrangelo showed his {Q-Hearts} only but Nitsche had it with his {10-Hearts}{9-Clubs} for three of a kind, and that earned him the pot.
