Overwhelming Lead for Tayi

Niveau 28 : 120,000/240,000, 0 ante

2-7 Triple Draw

Joao Vieira got some chips back from Venkata Tayi when he three-bet out of the big blind and Tayi called in the small blind. Both discarded two and Tayi check-called a bet. He discarded two, Vieira took one and Tayi check-folded to a bet. Tayi then raised and earned the blinds.

Vieira raised the button and Tayi defended the big blind. Once again both discarded two and Tayi check-called. Vieira drew one and Tayi took two, prompting a check-call by Tayi. They took one each on the final draw and checked, which awarded the pot to Tayi with a {k-}{9-}{8-}{7-}{3-}.

Last but not least, Vieira clashed with Tayi once more in a hand that lasted five minutes into the new level. Tayi patted the final two draws whereas Vieira took one. The bets of Tayi kept coming and Vieira tank-called to get shown {8-}{6-}{4-}{3-}{2-} for an eight-six perfect by Tayi, who established an overwhelming lead.

Peck Doubles Through Vieira

Niveau 28 : 120,000/240,000, 0 ante

A-5 Triple Draw

"My chances of finishing second are shrinking," Vladimir Peck said before he then defended the big blind against small blind raise by Joao Vieira. Both discarded two cards and Vieira's bet was called as Peck came along with 190,000 behind. They discarded one each and Vieira checked, Peck moved all-in and received a very reluctant call.

Peck patted the {7-}{5-}{4-}{2-}{a-} and Vieira was sweating a {6-}{5-}{3-}{2-}. He needed an ace or four to deal the final blow but only spiked the {q-}.

Niveau 28 : 120,000/240,000, 0 ante
