Knecht Closes In On Chip Lead

Niveau 27 : 100,000/150,000, 150,000 ante

Frederick Knecht raised to 550,000 and was three bet by the big blind to 2,100,000. Knecht then moved all in for his final 9,000,000. His opponent said "I guess we're flipping'' as he reluctantly threw in the call.

Frederick Knecht: {9-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}
Big Blind: {a-Hearts}{q-Hearts}

The big blind was correct as it was a classic race with Knecht's pocket pair vs his opponents overcards.

The flop was bad for Knecht as he was drawing to just two outs {k-Diamonds}{q-Spades}{6-Spades}. The turn of {j-Diamonds} didn't help but the {9-Spades} river made sure Knecht won a massive pot as he closed in on the chip lead.
