Michailidis Spikes River to Eliminate Two

Niveau 16 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

The under the gun player opened and the next player to act flat-called, as did Said Michailidis in middle position. The action folded to the big blind, who three-bet shoved a stack of 120,000.

The under the gun player tanked and someone called the clock before he re-shoved a slightly larger stack. The next player at act stood up and lifted his cards before the dealer warned him to keep them on the table.

As he stood up, the player had spilled a drink on the ground. The floor was again called over to clean up the mess and the player removed his undershirt to briefly be shirtless in the Bally's Event Center before putting his tank top back on. In the midst of the spectacle, Michailidis called.

Under the Gun: {a-Spades}{k-Diamonds}
Big Blind: {6-Clubs}{6-Hearts}
Said Michailidis: {a-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}

The flop of {4-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{q-Hearts} kept the big blind ahead with sixes and the {5-Clubs} on the turn didn't change things. But the {10-Clubs} on the river gave Michailidis the best hand to eliminate both opponents.

"Do I get a side pot?" the under the gun player asked before being informed he did not.
