Late Registration Ended, Guanghou Shoves and Gets Two Callers

Niveau 10 : 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

With late registration ended, dozens of players can be seen exiting the Bally's ballroom as everyone tries to improve their stack, often with multi-way all ins. This is exactly what happened with Yuzu Guanghou and two other players.

Guanghou had the button covered from middle position, but the big blind raised all in. Guanghou had too much in the middle, and too strong a hand to let go. It wasn't apparent whether his remaining stack or his cards hit the felt first, and three people were fighting for a triple up.

Button: {a-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}
Yuzu Guanghou: {a-Clubs}{q-Clubs}
Big Blind: {k-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}

The big blind had every player covered, and Guanghou and the button were not pleased to see they shared some of each other's outs.

The flop came {2-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}, and suddenly Guanghou had new life.

When he saw the {8-Clubs} land softly, he stood up and clapped loudly.

The river was a meaningless {5-Hearts}, and Guanghou secured the triple up.

Luong Picks Up Large Pot Without Showdown

Niveau 10 : 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

Action was picked up on the flop with the board reading {9-Hearts}{6-Spades}{5-Spades}, and roughly 25,000 in the pot.

The small blind opened the betting for 5,000. Tina Luong in the hijack raised to 15,000 and got a call from the button, and the small blind folded.

The turn came {4-Hearts}, and Luong continued for 15,000 again. The button called, leaving himself just under 20,000 in his stack.

A rivered {3-Hearts} saw Luong push all in for 20,000 effective, and the button quickly folded.

Straight-Flush vs Ace-High Flush

Niveau 10 : Blinds 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

A wild run-out occurred in the orange section in Bally's Ballroom. The action was picked up on a flop of {5-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{2-Hearts}. Ryan Conner bet 4,000 and short-stacked Tyler Chabolla made the call.

On the {10-Hearts} turn Conner bet enough to put Chabolla all in and at risk for his remaining 9,500. Chabolla called rather quickly and the cards were on their backs.

Ryan Conner: {a-Hearts}{7-Clubs}
Tyler Chabolla: {q-Hearts}{8-Hearts}

Chabolla flopped a queen-high flush but was outdrawn on the turned heart by the nut flush of Conner.

The turn gave Chabolla hope with one out now to a straight flush.

"At least I'm not drawing dead", laughed Chabolla.

The miracle {j-Hearts} hit the river erupting the table in laughter and doubling up Chabolla with his straight flush.

Gaspard Wins Pocket Pair Confrontation

Niveau 10 : 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

Jean Gaspard moved all-in with a short stack and two players moved in behind him, while the small blind folded {3-}{3-} face-up.

Jean Gaspard: {8-Spades}{8-Hearts}
Button: {q-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}
Cutoff: {6-Hearts}{6-}

Each player had a pocket pair and the flop came {8-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{a-Hearts} to give Gaspard a big lead with a set. The {2-Spades} on the turn didn't change things and Gaspard yelled "don't do it!" before the dealer put down a safe {k-Hearts} to earn him a triple-up, while a small side pot went to the button.

Early Position: {a-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}
