Brian Weaver
Brian Weaver

Action started when Chak Lam Tsang open-jammed from under the gun for 2,000,000. It folded to Brian Weaver in middle position who went all in over the top for 4,400,000 and the rest of the table got out of the way.

Chak Lam Tsang: {7-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}
Brian Weaver: {q-Spades}{q-Diamonds}

Tsang said before revealing his hand that he didn't look at his cards before jamming. The flop brought a sweat when it came {k-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}, but the turn {9-Diamonds} and river {10-Diamonds} sealed the deal for Weaver as he eliminated Tsang and gained more chips to his growing stack.

Hizer Out-Flops Jackson to Double

Niveau 35 : 300,000/600,000, 600,000 ante

David Jackson raised to 1,200,000 from early position before Paul Hizer moved all in for 10,175,000 in the cutoff. Jackson quickly called.

Paul Hizer: {a-Spades}{j-Spades}
David Jackson: {a-Hearts}{k-Clubs}

Hizer was dominated and at risk, but not for long. The {4-Spades}{j-Clubs}{3-Spades} flop gave him both top pair and the nut flush draw.

"Oh shit. Flopped him dead," tablemate Ari Oxman said.

Looking for two outs, Jackson didn't get it on the {9-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds} turn and river to hand over the pot to Hizer.

Clock Called on Lin as Schumacher Survives

Niveau 35 : 300,000/600,000, 600,000 ante

Xiang Lin raised to 1,500,000 from late position before Juliane Schumacher moved all in for around 7,500,000.

Lin went into the tank for several minutes, constantly counting down his chips and re-checking his cards. The table eventually called the clock on him.

As the tournament official counted down to zero, Lin folded pocket nines face up.

"That was an eight-minute hand. You took eight minutes off the clock," a tablemate admonished Lin after the hand.

Guttman Misses and Busts

Niveau 36 : 400,000/800,000, 800,000 ante

From early position, Russ Harp moved all in for 7,800,000 and Alon Guttman called in the small blind.

Alon Guttman: {a-Clubs}{8-Clubs}
Russ Harp: {a-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds}

The {k-Spades}{2-Clubs}{3-Clubs} flop gave Harp top pair, but it also gave Guttman the nut flush draw. The board {q-Spades}{6-Spades} ran out with two black cards but not the club Guttman was looking for.

The stacks were counted down and Harp had Guttman covered, sending him to the payout desk soon after coming back from break.
