The flop looked bad for Miscikowski when the hit the board. He went for the backpack.
The turn gave him a few more outs. The river came through for him and the rivered straight left Foxen with about eight big blinds.
Action picked up with cards on their backs as Brian Rast and Calvin Lee got all the chips in the middle preflop, and about a 3,300,000 chip pot was up for grabs in a classic race.

Jacks held on the flop when the came out. The turn added a flush draw for Lee. The river was what Lee needed to get the win and the double through Rast.
With over 500,000 in the pot and on the board, Daan Mulders checked and Chris Brewer bet 425,000. Mulders shoved for a total of 1,200,000 and Brewer called without hesitation.
Mulders turned over for aces and sevens, but Brewer showed for aces and eights. The river was a blank for Mulders and he was eliminated from the tournament in 21st place for $50,810.
Action picked up on the flop in a heads-up pot between Brek Schutten and Brian Rast. The board read . Schutten had checked to Rast on the button, and Rast put out a bet of 250,000.
Schutten put in the check-raise to 600,000 from the cutoff and Rast made the call.
The turn was the . Schutten now bet 400,000, representing about half of Rast's remaining chips. Rast reluctantly tossed his cards into the muck.
Action started on the flop when Reagan Silber bet 100,000 from the cutoff into Jesse Lonis on the button into a pot of about 280,000. The board showed . Lonis made the call.

On the river , Silber now went back to the aggression with a bet of 250,000. Lonis thought for about 30 seconds before making the call.
"You got it," said Silber. Lonis showed for bottom pair and the winner.

David Miscikowski opened to 120,000 on the button and found resistance when Jake Schindler went all in for 1,905,000 effective from the big blind. At risk, Miscikowski made the call.

Brian Rast raised to 600,000 from late position and Chris Brewer three-bet to 1,200,000 from the cutoff. The button and blinds got out of the way and Rast called with his last 125,000.
