Terebelo, Ruivo Chop Up Kuznetsov

Niveau 3 : 200/400, 400 ante

Nikita Kuznetsov was all in for his last 10,000 and Manuel Ruivo for his last 45,000 as both were up against Josh Terebelo in the big blind who had them covered.

Nikita Kuznetsov: {8-Spades}{8-Hearts}
Manuel Ruivo: {a-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}
Josh Terebelo: {a-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}

Ruivo and Terebelo each had the same hand as Kuznetsov was a favorite to triple up here. "Good spot," a tablemate told the Russian as he took out his phone to record the action.

The {a-Spades}{6-Hearts}{2-Clubs} flop gave both Ruivo and Terebelo a pair of aces and Kuznetsov failed to hit the {4-Clubs} turn or {9-Diamonds} river to hit the rail, while Ruivo and Terebelo chopped the pot.

Shapiro's Shove Takes it Down

Niveau 3 : 200/400, 400 ante

Three players paid 1,800 to see the {2-Hearts}{10-Clubs}{5-Spades} flop. The cutoff led out for 3,000. Josh Shapiro, in the small blind, raised to 6,000. "Plan that before the flop?" the cutoff asked of Shapiro, who could only offer a confused "what?" in response. The opponent made the call, while the other player who had gone to the flop got out of the way.

On the {4-Hearts} turn, Shapiro continued, now for 8,000, getting a quick call from his opponent. On the {j-Hearts} river, Shapiro moved all in for 22,700. This was too much for the cutoff, who threw his cards towards the muck in disgust, while Shapiro raked in the pot.

Jimmy D'Ambrosio
Jimmy D'Ambrosio

Action picked up on the flop in a three-way pot with a board of {10-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{6-Clubs}.

Jimmy D'Ambrosio bet 3,300 from under the gun. Harry Kazazian folded the button, but the small blind called, and Josh Arieh called in the big blind.

"What?" said Ambrosio when Kazazian folded.

"You'll probably hit me with the five-six," said Kazazian.

The dealer reminded Kazazian not to talk about the hand.

The turn brought the {5-Diamonds}. Both players checked to D'Ambrosio, who bet 9,900. The small blind folded, Arieh made the call.

The river completed the front-door flush when the {9-Hearts} hit the board. Arieh checked to D'Ambrosio who bet 13,900.

Arieh thought for about 15 seconds before announcing "all in," 25,000 effective. D'Ambrosio called immediately.

Arieh showed {a-Hearts}{2-Hearts} for the rivered flush, but D'Ambrosio indeed had the {5-Spades}{6-Spades} for the turned full house.

Grospellier Lets It Go

Niveau 3 : 200/400, 400 ante

Bertrand "ElkY" Grospellier opened to 800 from early position and received a sole call out of the big blind.

Both players checked through the {6-Clubs}{9-Spades}{7-Clubs} flop to the {10-Diamonds} turn where the big blind led out for 2,000. Grospellier, who has struggled to get much momentum going through the first two levels, raised his hands in frustration as he folded.

Echyenne Shoves on Kempton

Niveau 3 : 200/400, 400 ante

Action was on the flop as Isaac Kempton bet 3,000 from middle position as it read {7-Diamonds}{2-Spades}{7-Spades}. Thomas Echyenne called in the hijack.

The turn was the {5-Spades}. Kempton bet 8,000 and Echyenne called again.

The river came the {q-Clubs}. Kempton kept up the lead and fired 15,000 forward. This time Echyenne sprung into action and shoved all in for about 41,000. Kempton thought for close to a minute before he gave it up and folded.

Schumacher Cracks Aces to Double

Niveau 3 : 200/400, 400 ante
Johan Schumacher
Johan Schumacher

Johan Schumacher opened from under the gun, the cutoff three-bet to 4,000, and Schumacher called.

The dealer fanned the {q-Clubs}{10-Spades}{6-Diamonds} flop and Schumacher check-called for 8,000.

The {j-Diamonds} landed on the turn, Schumacher checked, and his opponent moved all in. Schumacher quickly called for his 16,700 chips.

Johan Schumacher: {q-Spades}{q-Hearts}
Cutoff: {a-Spades}{a-Diamonds}

Schumacher had ran ladies into rockets, but fortunately flopped top set to vault ahead. Needing to fade an ace or king to survive, the {j-Spades} completed the board, and the Belgian secured the double.

Lopez Makes Big Fold to Karnofsky

Niveau 3 : 200/400, 400 ante

Harlan Karnofsky re-raised to 8,000 pre-flop and was called by Guillermo Lopez as they went heads-up to the {3-Spades}{10-Spades}{9-Diamonds} flop.

Karnofsky quickly threw out a bet of 18,000 and Lopez, with not much more behind, went into the tank for a few minutes. He eventually open-mucked {j-Hearts}{j-Spades} and found out he had saved his tournament life when Karnofsky showed him two kings.

Posey Cracks Aces to Triple Up

Niveau 3 : 200/400, 400 ante

Action was picked up after all three players had moved all in. The big stack sat to the right of Justin Posey, who had the smallest stack at 52,100, while the player to his left had him covered by just a few thousand.

Justin Posey: {k-Hearts}{k-Clubs}
Middle Stack: {a-Hearts}{a-Diamonds}
Big Stack: {j-Spades}{j-Diamonds}

The middle stack was in great shape, but that changed dramatically as the {k-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{8-Clubs} flop improved Posey to a set and left his opponents drawing thin. The {6-Clubs}{9-Clubs} turn and river completed the board, and locked up the pot for Posey, tripling his stack.
