Gallardo Gets Paid

Niveau 22 : Blinds 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

Kristen Foxen opened to 60,000 from under-the-gun and was called by Maximiliano Gallardo in the big blind.

Gallardo check-called a 40,000 bet from Foxen on the AQJ flop and both players checked on the J turn.

The J fell on the river and Gallardo bet 165,000, sending Foxen deep into the tank.

Foxen eventually decided to call and Gallardo showed A9 for jacks-full of nines. Foxen mucked and Gallardo took down the pot.

Chen Picks Off Bluff From Hayami

Niveau 22 : Blinds 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

Masaya Hayami opened to 60,000 from early position and only James Chen made the call in the cutoff.

The pair saw a flop of KQ10 and Hayami continued for 80,000, which Chen called. On the 7 turn Hayami kept up the aggression with a bet of 120,000, and again Chen tossed in chips for the call.

The 3 completed the board and Hayami took a moment before sliding out a bet of 150,000. Chen contemplated his options, but eventually put in the chips for a call.

Hayami rolled over 109 for a pair of tens and Chen confidently tabled AQ for a pair of queens to score the pot.
