On a flop of Q♦7♣6♠, Obst bet and called Daly's raise which led them to the 3♠ turn. This time, Obst check-called a bet and they checked the 8♠ on the river.

"I think we chop," Daly announced and showed his A♥A♣8♦4♣ for aces and a live eight. That actually earned three quarters against the A♠A♦9♣8♥ of Obst.

Becker Gets Some Value From Daly

Becker Scoops Multi-Way Pot to Take Lead

In a four-way min-raised pot to the K♠9♥2♦ flop, it checked to James Obst in the cutoff and he bet. Luis Velador on the button folded while Jason Daly in the small blind check-raised. Johannes Becker called in the big blind and Obst stuck around as well.

Daly bet the 7♣ turn to earn two calls and bet again the 9♠ on the river. Becker called after some consideration and Obst let go.

The K♥Q♠3♣2♠ of Daly had flopped two pair but they were counterfeited, as Becker dragged in the large pot with the A♣K♣6♥5♠.

Obst Gets Short and Quadruples With Miracle River

James Obst was left short when he folded on the flop against heads-up action between James Chen and Jason Daly, who ended up chopping the pot. That left the Aussie with one and a half big bets and he got those in via three-bet on the button. Jason Daly in the big blind called, as did initial raiser Johannes Becker from under the gun and Chen from the next seat.

On a flop of A♥9♠7♣ flop, Daly checked and Becker bet to receive two calls. The Q♦ turn was checked by Daly, Becker bet again and Chen now folded while Daly called. They checked down the Q♥ river and the cards were exposed.

Both Becker and Obst had flopped two pair but the kicker saved Obst, who quadrupled up.

The 8♣ turn went check bet call and the dealer burned and turned an A♥ river, which checked through.

Ruben tabled 8♦5♦5♣2♣ for a full house, fives full of deuces and Seidel studied his hand for a moment before mucking.

Both tangled shortly after in a battle of the blinds, Chen check-called the A♣Q♦10♥ flop and 3♦ turn. The 2♠ fell on the river and Chen checked once more. Obst fired a final bet and Chen folded with plenty of frustration.
