Action began with Zachary Vankeuren raising from the middle position. Ian O'Hara called putting his tournament life on the line as he was all in and both players showed their holdings.
Ian O'Hara: K♣Q♣
Zachary Vankeuren: A♠A♥
Vankeuren's aces held as the board ran out K♥7♠8♣2♣A♦.
Action began preflop with Ruslan Nazarenko jamming all in from the cutoff for 2,275,000. Sridhar Sangannagari called from the big blind as both players revealed their hands.
Ruslan Nazarenko: 9♥9♣
Sridhar Sangannagari: A♠10♥
The board ran out 2♣K♦K♠3♥Q♦ with Sangannagari scooping the pot.
Barny Boatman was under the gun and bet 600,000 and was called by Scott Dulaney in the hijack, Sridhar Sangannagari in the small blind, and Steve Kim in the big blind.
The flop came K♥6♠3♥ and Boatman bet the pot for 2,650,000 leaving 125,000 behind. Dulaney made the call and the blinds folded. Boatman put their remaining 125,000 into the middle after the 6♦ turn which Dulaney quickly called.
Barny Boatman: A♦A♠K♣8♠
Scott Dulaney: K♦J♥10♦10♠
Boatman's pocket aces were ahead and Dulaney had limited outs. The J♥ completed the board and Boatman more than doubled up to move back into contention.
Steve Kim was reduced to a short stack and pushed their remaining 550,000 from under the gun. Action folded to Michael Holtz in the big blind who made the call.
Steve Kim: 10♠8♠
Michael Holtz: A♠10♣
Kim was behind and did not improve as the board ran out J♠J♦3♦6♥A♣ which sent them to the pay cage for a five-figure payday.
Action begins after the turn as the board came 6♦J♦4♣K♣. Eric Stone checked from the small blind while Zachary Vankeuren led out for 5,000,000. Smith jammed all in and was quickly called by Vankeuren as both players showed their hands.
Eric Stone: J♠J♥10♦8♦
Zachary Vankeuren: K♠K♦2♦5♣
The river was the 5♥ as Vankeuren scooped the pot.
After settling in at the final table Scott Dulaney stated "I am usually the prettiest guy in the room, then they sit me next to these pretty boys!" pointing at Zachary Vankeuren and Charles Combs.
Barny Boatman sharply said, "Which rooms are you going in?"
The next hand was pitched and Vankeuren bet 700,000 from the hijack and was called by Dulaney in the cutoff and Keith Krumwiede in the big blind.
The flop of 8♣7♦5♠ saw Dulaney bet 2,550,000. Krumwiede folded and Vankeuren announced pot which was enough to make Dulaney all in for 5,350,000. Dulaney moved their chips into the middle.
Scott Dulaney: A♣7♠6♣5♠
Zachary Vankeuren: K♥J♣10♠9♦
The runout of 8♦A♥ was safe for Dulaney whose two pair of eights and sevens was good enough to take the pot and gave the chip leader Vankeuren a massive dent into their stack.
Action began preflop with Keith Krumweide jamming all in from the button for 6,000,000. Sridhar Sangannagari made the call from the small blind as both players revealed their holdings.
Keith Krumweide: A♣10♦
Sridhar Sangannagari: A♥J♥
The board ran out 8♣5♠K♣4♦4♥ as Sangannagari took the pot.
Barny Boatman got all of his chips in preflop from the button, along with chip leader Sridhar Sangannagari, in the small blind.
Barny Boatman: J♥J♣
Sridhar Sangannagari: A♣2♥
Boatman looked to be in good shape, with the first cards out being 2♣6♥6♦. But an A♥ on the turn was a dagger in the heart, and the final 4♦ was of no help and Sangannagari took down an enormous pot.
