Niveau 37 : Blinds 400,000/800,000, 800,000 ante
Johan Guilbert
Johan Guilbert

Johan Guilbert looked down at his hole cards and moved all in for his remaining stack to put himself at risk, and Antonio Galiana obliged his opponent with a call.

Johan Guilbert: A5 All in
Antonio Galiana: Q9

The dealer fanned QJ10 on the flop, giving Galiana top pair while opening a gut-shot straight draw for Guilbert.

The 4 on the turn didn’t help Guilbert, and the 6 on the river gave Galiana the winning hand.

Guilbert finished the tournament in second place for a payout of $292,927.

Jeremy Ausmus Eliminated in 3rd Place ($202,358)

Niveau 33 : Blinds 150,000/300,000, 300,000 ante
Jeremy Ausmus
Jeremy Ausmus

Jeremy Ausmus made a stand in the big blind in the face of a button raise by Johan Guilbert.

Ausmus, the shortest stack of the remaining three players, announced an all-in bet and Guilbert snap-called to put the six-time WSOP bracelet winner at risk.

Jeremy Ausmus: A2 All in
Johan Guilbert: AA

Ausmus needed a lot of help, but it didn’t arrive when the dealer fanned K710 on the flop. The 10 on the river had Ausmus drawing dead, and the 6 was a formality on the river to send Ausmus to the rail.

Ausmus earned a $202,358 payout for his third-place finish.

Juha Helppi
Juha Helppi

Juha Helppi moved all in out of the small blind against Jeremy Ausmus, who was in the big blind and covered Helppi.

After a brief moment, Ausmus called to put Helppi at risk.

Juha Helppi: 108 All in
Jeremy Ausmus: Q10

Helppi saw he was behind after the cards were tabled and appeared resigned to his fate while he stood and drank from a water bottle.

His reaction didn’t change when the dealer fanned 595 on the flop. The turn was the 10, but Ausmus’ queen kicker kept him in the lead. The dealer placed J on the river, giving Ausmus the winning hand.

Helppi finished the tournament in fourth place for a $151,592 payout.

Romain Lewis Eliminated in 5th Place ($111,222)

Niveau 32 : Blinds 125,000/250,000, 250,000 ante
Romain Lewis
Romain Lewis

Action folded to Romain Lewis on the button. He looked down at AQ and minraised. The small blind folded and it was to chip leader Antonio Galiana in the big blind.

Galiana found 66 and thought for a while. He then three-bet all in, which was for Lewis's stack of 8,100,000 or around 32 big blinds. Lewis thought for a short while and then called.

The flop was Q69. Lewis's rail was excited to see the queen, but they initially missed that Galiana had made a set, leaving Lewis in bad shape.

The turn was the J and Lewis was drawing dead. The river was the 9.

Joshua Reichard Eliminated in 6th Place ($82,702)

Niveau 32 : Blinds 125,000/250,000, 250,000 ante
Joshua Reichard
Joshua Reichard

Joshua Reichard was down to just 25,000 after losing a majority of his stack to Jeremy Ausmus in the previous hand.

Reichard was forced to be all in out of the small blind, and then had to hold on for dear life.

Players folded around the table to Johan Guilbert on the button, and Guilbert raised to 500,000. With Reichard already all in, action fell on Antonio Galiana, who called out of the big blind.

The dealer fanned 8QJ on the flop, resulting in checks from Galiana and Guilbert. The 3 hit the turn, and once again Galiana and Guilbert checked.

The river produced 8 and Galiana checked a third time. This time, though, Guilbert elected to bet 775,000, which drew a call from Galiana.

With Reichard already all in, the cards were tabled.

Joshua Reichard: 102 All in
Antonio Galiana: J6
Johan Guilbert: Q10

Guilbert took down the main and side pot with a pair of queens.

Reichard finished in sixth place for a payout of $87,702.

Patrick Leonard Eliminated in 7th Place ($62,334)

Niveau 32 : Blinds 125,000/250,000, 250,000 ante
Patrick Leonard
Patrick Leonard

Patrick Leonard entered the feature table with 1,675,000 and found a spot early in Level 32 to get his chip stack in the middle.

Juha Helppi raised to 525,000 from the hijack, and Leonard three-bet to 1,100,000 from the cutoff. Action folded back to Helppi, who went deep in the tank.

After more than a minute elapsed, Helppi four-bet to put Leonard all in, and Leonard called to put himself at risk.

Patrick Leonard: A10 All in
Juha Helppi: A5

Leonard had Helppi’s ace dominated, but the flop of K25 gave Helppi a pair of fives and the lead. Leonard didn’t receive help on the turn, where the 8 appeared, and 7 on the river sent Leonard to the rail.

Leonard finished the tournament in seventh place for a $62,334 payout.

David Goodman Eliminated in 8th Place ($47,632)

Niveau 31 : Blinds 100,000/200,000, 200,000 ante
David Goodman
David Goodman

David Goodman found himself as one of the short stacks deep into Level 31 and found a hand to make his stand with an all-in bet.

Unfortunately, he ran into Antonio Galiana, the chip leader, who made the call on the button to put Goodman at risk.

David Goodman: 1010 All in
Antonio Galiana: QQ

The dealer fanned 854 on the flop, keeping Galiana in the lead. The Q on the turn gave Galiana top set and a hammerlock on the hand, as the J fell harmless on the river to give Galiana the hand and knockout.

David Goodman exits in 8th place for $47,632.

David Hoffenberg Eliminated in 10th Place ($29,006)

Niveau 30 : Blinds 80,000/160,000, 160,000 ante
David Hoffenberg
David Hoffenberg

David Hoffenberg came to the unofficial final table with just 600,000 chips, less than four big blinds. He had only 200,000 chips or just over a big blind left on his last hand. He went all in from early position. Play folded to Juha Helppi in the small blind, who called. Eoghan O'Dea also called. They went three-way to the flop with Hoffenberg already all in.

The flop was QQ9. Both Helppi and O'Dea checked. The same action repeated on the 8 turn.

The river was the J. Helppi checked again, but O'Dea bet 300,000. Helppi folded.

It was time to show down the hands and O'Dea then turned over 103 for the rivered straight. Hoffenberg was visibly disappointed and eventually showed the table KQ for flopped trips.

Brett Apter open shoved for his last 590,000 from under the gun. Action folded around to Antonio Galiana in the small blind who snap called. Apter was at risk and in need of some help.

Brett Apter: KQ
Antonio Galiana: AA

The board ran out 34648, giving Apter some outs on the turn and river. Unfortunately for Apter he could not improve to the winning hand, thus ending an impressive tournament run for the bracelet winner.
