Before the hand started, Tobias Hausen was speaking with the floorman about how David Singer was calling the clock on him for every decision after five seconds. The floor explained to Hausen the rules about stalling which Hausen disagreed with.
The next hand was dealt and Hausen was under the gun. He looked at his cards twice and as he was about to fold, Singer called the clock.
Hausen was clearly agitated and some other players explained to him that the first time he took several minutes nobody said anything.
Singer finally said that nobody is trying to harass Hausen who responded that Singer was.
Start-of-the-day chip leader Adam Dickson made it four bets on third street and was called by Edward Nassif by betting through each street. Nassif just called him down and Dickson announced "I just have two pair" and showed the while mucking his last card.
Nassif tabled and won the pot. "You must have put me on two pair, right?" Dickson asked and took a small bump to his stack, though the Brit is still up for the day.
Jan Stein limped from under the gun, Jason Mercier raised on the button and Adam Dickson called from the small blind. Edward Nassif from the big and Stein both joined them, making it four to the flop.
On the board it was checked to Mercier who bet and his opponents all called.
The action was the same on the turn except only Stein called, then both remaining players checked the river.
Mercier turned over for aces up and took down the pot.
Daniel Negreanu bet a four-way flop of out of the small blind and was called by Paul Sokoloff only. On the turn, Negreanu checked and Sokoloff bet to force a fold from Negreanu, who mucked face up. Right after, his table broke and he moved to the Brasilia room, sharing the process with his followers via smart phone.
Among those still in the Miranda room is Adam Greenberg. He just survived an all-in via a split pot, then got the rest of his short stack in with on a flop of . Peter Levine called with , and the turn and river gave Greenberg a full house. The hopes of a miracle comeback were shattered soon after and the next table broke.
Tom West is the biggest stack on the sole remaining table in Miranda.
