Dunst Doubles Up, Then Doubles Petleshkov

Niveau 17 : 2,500/5,000, 500 ante
Tony Dunst
Tony Dunst

Stephen Woodhead opened with a raise to 10,000 from under the gun. Everyone folded to Tony Dunst in the big blind, who shoved for 98,500. Woodhead, who played 100,000 in total, thought for around ten seconds before calling.

Tony Dunst: {J-Clubs}{J-Spades}
Stephen Woodhead: {9-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}

Dunst all but sealed it after the {K-Diamonds}{2-Spades}{J-Hearts} flop and scooped up the pot after the {4-Spades} turn and {A-Diamonds} river.

After posting his ante for the next hand, Woodhead was left with 1,000 and forced all in from the big blind. Viliyan Petleshkov shoved 71,500 from middle position, and Dunst called from the small blind.

Tony Dunst: {7-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}
Viliyan Petleshkov: {8-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}
Stephen Woodhead: {9-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}

Woodhead had a good chuckle when he picked up nines again. The board ran out {10-Spades}{6-Hearts}{J-Hearts}{A-Diamonds}{K-Hearts}, and he septupled up. Petleshkov was second-best and won the more-than-substantial side pot.

Wilkerson Gets Paid

Niveau 17 : 2,500/5,000, 500 ante
Dylan Wilkerson
Dylan Wilkerson

Steve Hwang was in middle position and raised to 12,000. Denis Pisarev was in the hijack and called. Dylan Wilkerson took a look at his cards in the big blind and three-bet to 40,000. Hwang and Pisarev called.

The flop was {k-Diamonds}{q-Spades}{4-Hearts}, and everyone checked. The turn was the {4-Spades}, and everyone checked again. The river was the {a-Spades}, and Wilkerson paused for a bit before moving all in for 83,500. Hwang tanked for a couple of minutes and called, sending Pisarev into the tank. A player at the table called clock after a couple of minutes, and as the tournament director began the countdown, Pisarev mucked his hand.

Dylan Wilkerson: {k-Hearts}{k-Spades}
Steve Hwang: {a-Hearts}{q-Hearts}

The full house for Wilkerson was more than enough, and the wily pro slow-played it just enough to get paid.

Negreanu Finally Doubles Up

Niveau 17 : 2,500/5,000, 500 ante
Daniel Negreanu
Daniel Negreanu

Daniel Negreanu had been hovering around 20-30 big blinds for hours today but finally found the double-up he was looking for.

Negreanu had {Q-Hearts}{J-Spades} exposed, an all-in button in front of him, and the board had ran out {10-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{9-Spades}{3-Diamonds}. Florentino Coalla was his adversary in the hand, and his hand was face-down in the muck against Negreanu's nut straight. With the hand, Negreanu doubled up to 240,000.

"Zisimo" Folds Overpair To D'Angelo

Niveau 18 : 3,000/6,000, 500 ante
Georgios Zisimopoulos
Georgios Zisimopoulos

Ryan D'Angelo raised to 15,000 from the hijack, Georgios Zisimopoulos three-bet to 45,000 from the cutoff, and D'Angelo called.

The flop was {10-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{4-Hearts}, and D'Angelo checked. Zisimopoulos bet 50,000, and D'Angelo responded by check-raising all in for 250,000.

"Ahh, how much?" Zisimopoulos asked with a disgusted look on his face. The Greek gave it nearly three minutes of thought before open-folding {J-Diamonds}{J-Clubs}.

D'Angelo didn't show and the 2016 bracelet winner silently stacked up the chips.

Gimbel Thins the Field

Niveau 19 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante
Harrison Gimbel
Harrison Gimbel

Harrison Gimbel was in the hijack and raised to 16,000. Konstantinos Nanos was on the button and three-bet to 44,000. Sebastian Saffari was in the big blind and moved all in for 172,000. Gimbel also moved in for 408,000 total, and action went back to Nanos. After taking a couple of minutes to decide, Nanos folded.

Harrison Gimbel: {a-Clubs}{k-Hearts}
Sebastian Saffari: {a-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}

The flop all but ended things, as the {k-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{k-Clubs} gave Gimbel trips. The turn and river sealed things up with the {7-Diamonds} and the {6-Hearts}, sending the pot Gimbel's way.
