Jean-Noel Thorel raised to 90,000 from early position and Igor Kurganov shipped all in for 665,000 in the small blind. Michael Addamo was int he big blind and thought for a minute before making the call. Thorel stepped aside and the two hands were tabled.

Kurganov was well out front with his pocket queens but the flop of turned the tide in favor of Adams. The on the turn and the on the river sealed the deal for Adams as Kurganov was eliminated. Adams was able to recover most of the chips he previously lost in a pot with Rainer Kempe.
Kristen Bicknell raised to 115,000 from the under-the-gun position and Sergio Aido called from the button. Big blind Jack Salter moved all in for 420,000 and Bicknell decided to flat. Aido moved all in himself as well, covering Bicknell. Bicknell called for her entire stack which was 1,875,000.

The board ran out and Bicknell came out on top with her pocket kings. Salter was eliminated in the last level of the day, but the reentry period is still open.
Christian Rudolph raised to 105,000 in early position and Christoph Vogelsang called from the small blind. Steffen Sontheimer was in the big blind and pushed all in for 665,000. Rudolph called while Vogelsang let his hand go.

Sontheimer held the advantage with the superior pocket pair. The flop came and Rudolph was still searching for a five. The turn was the and the river brought the as Sontheimer got a full double up.
At the start of Level 14 which is the last level of the day, last year's record has been broken already with 119 players in total. With registration still open until the start of Day 2 tomorrow, which has been moved to 3 PM local time, the total number of entries is expected to increase even more.
Tobias Ziegler shoved from under the gun for 360,000 and was called by Benjamin Pollak on the button. James Chen and Krasimir Yankov folded their blinds.

Ole Schemion had raised to 105,000 and big blind Shan Huang moved all in for his last 775,000. Schemion called and they were flipping. Huang was at risk of being eliminated.
