Pulkit Goyal Bags Big Chip Lead on Day 1b of Event #3: €1,350 Mini Main Event

Day 1b of Event #3: €1,350 Mini Main Event No-Limit Hold'em of the 2019 World Series of Poker Europe is in the books with 11:16 remaining in Level 16. A total of 214 entry slips were sold for this flight but only 43 competitors found a bag at the end of the day.

Taking the honor of the chip lead for Day 1b is Pulkit Goyal with an impressive stack of 1,518,000, almost double the stack of his following opponent Steffen Do (847,000).
Goyal, from India, made the final table of Event #5: €250 WSOP Circuit Mini Main Event at the WSOP International Circuit just a couple of weeks ago and will be looking to make another deep run at the WSOP Europe.

Gerardo Giammugnani rounds up the top three with 809,000 and Maria Lampropulos also bagged a stack near the top of the leaderboard with 804,000. Lampropulos already has a Circuit ring and some major titles. She will be looking to win her first WSOP bracelet.

Other notables that made it through to Day 2 include bracelet winners Renat Bohdanov (673,000), as well as Bertrand Grospellier (596,000), and Adrian Mateos (57,000).

Some other champions who took a shot at this flight but were not fortunate enough to make it through include bracelet winners Barak Wisbrod, Sebastian Langrock, Asi Moshe, Mykhailo Gutyi, Timur Margolin and Dash Dudley.
Dudley won his second bracelet this afternoon after taking down Event #2 of the series: €550 Pot-Limit Omaha. He didn't waste any time and directly took a shot at more glory, However he couldn't survive the day. He, as well as all the others, will have the opportunity to take a shot at the third and final flight of this event which will take place tomorrow, on Friday October 18th, at 2 p.m. local time.

The survivors of all flights will combine for Day 2 on Saturday October 19th at 1 p.m. local time to continue to battle it out.
